The more you edit, the more I like the product. Just one thing that pesters me though that has nothing to do with the zone itself.....but the life icon makes sonic look like he has fish eyes.

Watching this makes me wonder if there is any way to beat the boss without getting hit. Interesting to see a different code layout for the actions of Robotnik though.

SpirituInsanum: It looks really well detailed, nice one.

RavenFreak: A simple edit, but adds a challenge.

I guess I can as well post this video here: click here

Nothing interesting, two levels which were meant to be included in my old hack, but got scrapped when I canceled it. Some of you probably already saw most of this.

Wow, I'm actually rather impressed with those levels, the first one is impressive in that; it's one of those gimmicks you wouldn't likely see in a Sonic game, yet it works, and quite wonderfully too, and that second one (in my opinion) comes across as a true 16-bit version of Sky High Zone, the music is very nicely done, and the level seems full, enjoyable, and rather well constructed (Nicely polished if you ask me).

Is there a chance we could give them a play?

    I guess.

Sunset Park 3 (just press start at the title screen; music is broken too)

Sky High Zone (level select, Spring Yard Zone 1; music is wrong and there are probably other random ASM edits I forgot to revert).

Thanks for your feedback, by the way. You are one of the hackers I admire the most and it's great to receive such kind words from you. Don't forget, however, that Sunset Park 3 has been made by Hayate, so he gets credit for that.

My project as it stands now.

CoconutCoast & HolyHydro Zone. HolyHydro needs some serious tweaking as it was thrown together rather quickly. C+C is appreciated though as always. :3.

I liked this in the past, and still like it. My only nitpick is that Sonic looks too out of place, being that he's 16-bit, I think the level should of been largened to be more like a 16-bit version.

I recall playing the Sunset Park 3 edit before, I was just dissapointed that the mini spikeballs didn't cause damage to add to the challange of the level....but for what it was, it was a neat experiment to see a screen scroller level introduced.

Just need to give the Sky High Zone a tryout now.

Everything is so finely detailed here; beautiful job. Even the checkpost get a upgrade design, nice.

It's like a warning that these are all the noises you'll hear constantly while playing your hack. I LIKE IT! It's a real innovative use of eash sfx sound from the game.

Mother of got, that is some serious sexy art right there, it really looks beautiful, and reminds me of ristar somehow

Hey, thanks for playing this game, but, before you even play it, you're going to get annoyed a shitton with all the stuff that's heading you right now

That Splash Screen screams that so badly

Nice work with the screen, it is somewhat amusing with those sound effects, yet it seems rather solid and professional!

All you need now is some sort of awesome transition from that splash screen to the title screen and you're in business =D

Not sure if that's a critique or a compliment. :/

MarkeyJester: Thought about it, but for now I'm happy with its current state.

We know how the hack is, you should have taken it as a compliment :C

I think she's trying to describe the game as challeging and fustrating which the opening splash screen is showing with the multiple sfx sounds; thus the splash screen fits perfectly to the structural purpose of the game overall.
