That way it'd be possible for us to build a patch of bug fixes for the game? Because I laugh back, I agree about the fact that they really don't care about the game, but I highly disagree about them making the port for steam. Sure Sonic adventure 2 made it, but that's a different story. But I could be wrong.

I mean, I love the game, it's just unplayable lol. The only thing they need to fix are bugs/glitches, loading times, and the controls (imo).

Don't you mean Sonic Adventure 1?

Right guys, we're slowly steering off topic here, this discussion is for Dude's work in porting elements from Adventures to Generations, not whether SEGA decides to let games out on steam or not.

I'll be honest, I'm not too sure what I'm looking at, or at least I'm not sure what's different in comparison to the last video you posted. Could I have a hint? Please?

Dont know why but from the looks of it to me, kinda looks like one of the layouts from mystic ruins, but knowing me Im probably wrong.

This should make it a little less ambiguous:

It's on it's way, not bad, so are these levels going to be all original?

Alrighty well, it's looking very good right now. It's just Sonic's animation that looks wrong. I mean, I know it's supposed look like SA1's running animation, but it doesn't fit with modern Sonic to me. Also the Egg Carrier looks empty to me. It doesn't look that big, but I see a problem. It's in the water but then in Sky Chase Act 1 (if you do it, and if you don't do it Sky Deck) it's in the air. What? Anyways, 3D Water sections where Sonic doesn't die? WHA!? In all honesty, I like that. The whale destroys the bridge, not go through it. But it is early, so I'm okay with it, for now...

In the video I have seen a few areas that still require a "texture touch-up" the first area is at 1:23 to 1:25. The other is at 2:01 through 2:04. I think the second area could use a whole new texture mapping. the thrid area is at 2:20 through 2:23. As I can tell. This looks like a blured version of the original texture, which I do not like very much. At 2:40 through, the textures look as if they hadn't even been touched. Other than my nitpicky notices; I'd give this a 9 out of 10 on the hackers scale. Congrats.

Very good! This makes me wish that I bought Generations for the PC instead of the PS3. Oh well.

Classic Sonic looks cool too, and I think you did marvelously well with the new level layout and additions. Keep it up.

    MY GOD

Awesome! The first act looks especially good, and is very well designed. And act 2 is a very nice adaptation indeed, though a bit clunky at times.

When did you start the project? It already looks like it took lots of work (and time spending) to make this...

Early April, so the whole thing took about 5 months. We're already working (slowly) on the next levels. The next demo will probably be released around the time the next hacking contest comes around.
