    This is W.I.P. I need to find sprites to replace Tails as he seems too small compared to Sonic now. I am also working on adding the good 'ol finger wagging.

    I have to agree with Joe here. It annoys me greatly when someone simply says, "This is shit, do it again," because it provides zero constructive advice.

    That said, DumbLemon, is this moreso what you were going for?

    Yes, A bit like that. However I do intend to make it a bit like that. Except the Grass is a different color, The 'trees' (Is that what they are called?) in the background I want to be dark orange instead of plain green and the bricks being brighter. But over all, Yes it is quite similar.

    This idea is great. A flying fortress in the water of all places. This is the first water level what I actually want to play. I did notice that the chicken is off the ground but I am sure you noticed that. It will be interesting to see how Wing Fortress's layout will work underwater. Aside from the flying chicken this looks good.

    I can sense Sonic 2 UEM (Underwater Everything Mode) already. =P

    Still, with a few tweaks, that could look epic. Better yet, turn the thing into a submarine-like fortress :v

    Yes, rings actually have an underwater color change which hopefully both looks decent and makes them actually look they're underwater. Criticism is appreciated as always as long as it is constructive.

    Here is a video of my Title Screen in action thus far:





    It's still a WIP and I will be changing things a bit. Adding this has created a bug which if you press start to skip the intro animation the game will crash, very odd.

    EDIT: Got that fixed up. Was to do with branching to animate sprite without an animation set.

    Pretty sure no one is gonna skip that epic title screen anyway. Sonic starts wagging his finger a bit too early but it still looks great.

    Current issues:

    -Rings use some loop tiles

    -Parts of loops overlap Sonic, including very tall flowers

    -Loops still need to be downsized before I can add shade tiles

    -Ring pallete. Will need to talk to Ravenfreak about making rings use the HUD pallete.

    -I merged one chunk of AutoDemo GHZ level layout with the final layout, because I'm too lazy to port the entire level.

    -Palm Trees. I do not want to deal with them right now. :nea:

    After this, Sky High, then Underground! Which I need to work out the extended vertical scrolling for.

    Love it! However, I noticed the flowers that overlap Sonic have their blue background overlapping him, too.

    Looks very pretty, isn't that SOR2/BK2 tiles? I guess you have to remove the SYZ deformation codes to fix the mess.

    Actually, Rev00 doesn't deform SYZs' BG at all. It remains boringly static until you port in the Rev01 effects.

    It looks decent, actually. It isn't generations quality, obviously, but I could see this fitting into a decent FPS game. To be honest, it looks like only the textures require any editing.

    The last screenshot looks like REV01 SYZ grass effects made the mess. also i've ported and edited deformations before.

    Yeah, I ripped them off directly from the title screen of "Streets of Rage" or "Bare Knuckle" :p Also, I don't see a mess in the last screenshot. I made the bridges consecutive, according to the rev01 grass effects d=

    Maybe something with clouds? Sky? There is nothing in my mind. :p


    Anyway, keep up the good work! This is what I want to see in a Sonic hack...
