Sunky the Game

Basically, this is a little thing I made in GameMaker. Use the arrow keys to move and space to jump.

Doodily doo.

 

Here are my thoughts:

Pros:

• Impressive art
• Easy to control

Cons:

• A little bit too short
• Each obstacle is too easy
• There is little difficulty curve
• The final level was so hard that I think it may be inpossible
• Game mechanics introduced once weren't shown again
• Terrible enemy placement
• There are none of the special physics unlike other Sonic games
• Way too similar to another Windows Sonic game (Sonic.exe)
• Too much violence
• Terrible story

I give it a 2/10

 

That was very hilarious to play. I even put Sunky for my avatar! The sprites are very funny, and you know what? I want to see moar content here, and perhaps, play a full game. Truly, make it, at least for me, please!

I love this game! From the (amazing) art, to the funny subtitles to "You Can Do Anything", to the "SUNKY DID A THING" thing.

I will have to say this is a "holding right to win game". Try to add a bit of variety!

 

That was great, really! Subtitles for "You Can Do Anything" was funny, especially "Never play Sonic Boom!". Also, once I thought Jaws badnik can't hurt me, but I was shocked when it killed me. Good job, keep it up!

How do you add a variety with that jump height?

 

I just saw Razor & Zenon play it, and it's hilarious. Good work, man, good work.

Oh man, the graphics are really good, MSPaint style. Although, why would the game be dedicated to a SSRG user? Or maybe it's just a coincidence.

 

WELL. That was a thing that happened.

Hilarious game, though I feel it is too short.

Warning!  If I do not see any more progress to this game, I will be really disappointed!  As this made laugh quite a bit! =P

 

Just played the updated version after realizing I had the wrong version. =P

I definitely like the art style in this game, and it adds to the hilarity that ensues with almost every step you take. Sunky's little animations are really cute, and they also manage to add to that cartoony feel.

I also love the signpost design. It's just flat-out funny. =P

Two problems I have with the game:

1. Too easy to overcome obstacles

2. Sunky's jump is useless

Regardless, I am definitely looking for moar progress.

Now this is what I call right time, right place! I played the update and I love the mushrooms that dance to the song. I also like the underwater section! I can't wait to see the next level.
