    Hello, all. Chris here.

I know this question may have been asked millions of times, but has anyone made a Sonic CD Disassembly that is compatible with SonLVL? With an update of SonLVL just released, which adds Sonic CD support, i was just curious. I've always loved the Sega CD classic and would appreciate any answers i can find.

Sorry to break it to you, but there is no Sonic CD disassembly available right now.

There is a Sonic CD disassembly. In fact I have it on my computer. Unfortunately, there aren't any SonLVL files for it but you can either make your own or use SonED2. I'll tell you when I find it online.

    Edit: http://forums.sonicretro.org/index.php?showtopic=13994

You can't build it but it's useful for finding files and pieces of code.

What disassembly are you asking? Disasm of original Sega CD title, 1996 PC release, or 2011 remake? 1st one's disasm doesn't exist, 2nd title doesn't have it too (but you don't need it, you can edit it in SonLVL by placing project files into game folder), and the last one can be edited in tools as TaxED.

That's not entirely true, SonLVL can't edit Sonic CD PC without manually extracting some data from the DLL files. Similarly you can't edit Sonic CD MCD without manually extracting data from the MMD files.

There have been and probably will continue to be several disassembly attempts by various people, I don't know if any of them got to the data splitting stage, or were even public at all.
