I know I said I was going to release it during the Sonic Hacking Contest, but due to the hack being mostly complete, and the contest being pushed back a month, I thought I might as well post a demo release (I'm adding more content for the contest release).

Anywho, this is my latest hack, CrazySonic. It is a really stupid joke hack. Some may find it funny, some may be neutral to it, some may even want to kill me, but eh, if that's how you feel, so be it.

This hack is a crossover of Sonic and CrazyBus, plus a bunch of other shit, such as "better songs", "better games", and cheats to change up the gameplay a bit.

Oh my god, this is the best fuckin' hack I've every fuckin' seen. 10/10 will CrazySonic again IGN.

But in all honesty, no joke, this is a great joke hack for combining both Sonic 1 and the most terrible Sega Genesis/Mega Drive game ever made, CrazyBus. It's got all the humor and gameplay that you would expect from not only the original, but a quote-unquote "character" hack, and then some. There's also some hidden extras if you can figure them out for yourself. If you want a game that's based on a hilariously bad Sega Genesis/Mega Drive game, while playing through the Sonic 1 stages, then you have to play this hack. I promise that you'll have a good laugh.

 

Quite possibly the most polished joke hack I've ever seen. I already saw the submarine on the screenshot, but when The Beatles actually kicked in I lost my shit, oh my god.

Jokes aside it was really fun messing about with this while you were working on it, and of course helping along, tho if I was you I wouldn't of released this until SHC, so everyone would go to it blind or mostly blind anyway. Also should of added hints to the cheats on the game rather than the thread, to add a bit of mystery to it. Either way this is one of the funniest hacks for a while, good job on that!

 

I would make a Sanic joke, but I fear the risks of that. Anyways, Sanic mode is the best. Needs moar Sanic. 9/10

and the yellow submarine bit was indeed something else,in the best way!

I feel like downloading the original VOD of G playing CrazySonic and edit it to look alot nicer and highlight the best bits. His laugh is just amazing.

Absolutely hilarious! Finally decided to play it. I stared at it thinking "Welp.... The speed is realistic.... What the hell...." Then I tried ??????? cheat first.... :dry:  My brain cannot be found afterwards.  :laugh:  And also just one thing..... Having actually playing crazy bus (I know I know... "You idiot, WHO IN THEIR RIGHT MIND WOULD PLAY IT?!" But that's besides the point... Continue work and make it a warning to everyone to the Sega's pitfall of gaming.

EDIT: And also brilliant prank man. I instantly brought up Duane (Look up Duane GIF) after seeing an easter egg with the "Better Songs".
