You all know about that SHC2014 hack, "Sonic hard mode" by Sonic Hacker, right?
Here I am explaining all, if you don't know.
In 2014, a kid called sonic hacker decided to make a super very hard Sonic 1 hack.
He replaced all the rings with enemies. There were bugged rollers everywhere.
It was so hard, that he decided to place 10 rings at level start. A good hack, I think...
A year later, Another kid called VeryCoolGiova (I'm 13 guys), bored as usual, playing random Sonic hacks.
Then, I found myself playing "Sonic hard mode" and I had AN IDEA!
    And I made this hack.
This hack replaces badniks and spikes with rings. And does something that hard mode didn't. LAYOUT HACKING! (I changed only one chunk to place a spring removing a bridge)
I made sure to place so many rings to make the hack buggy, and I did it.
The game is so lazy that doesn't want to load some rings. It's the perfect work.
Obviusly, Im goin 2 put dis on SHC2016 and winn!!11! (I'm not going to put this on SHC2016)
But now, let's get serious and go to the game story.

robotnic has replace all badniks wit ringz. there r ringz evrywer.
now sonik must go to robotnic and kil him.

This hack was made on ESE 2, I still can't figure out how split disassemblies work.
Will you get all the 807 rings in the act and destroy Robotnik?

Sonic Hold Right to Win was more easy than this. So...

Since I am a no pics no clicks guy so do I require you to post screenshots. However I think that ESE 2 is not a good tool to use.

There are good ways to make parody hacks... then there is this! Not impressed.

This hack is an example that a hack's concept can look good on paper, but, in execution, it's a wretched mess. The concept here is to parody Sonic Hard Mode by making the complete opposite of that. However, sonic hacker made it a good hack, simply by it's concept of being a "Kaizo" hack. This falls flat on it's face by making the game a difficulty children would laugh at. It's very far from being both a solid hack and a decent parody.

    GRADE: F

Advice: Make the game easy in clever ways, like replacing the bottomless pits with platforms, or spikes with invincibility boxes.

Besides being a parody. What is the point of this hack?

Who is the target audience for this game?

Many people on this website have been playing the Sonic games their whole lives and wouldn't want or need an easy version of Sonic 1. Hacks like this are kinda frowned upon in this day and age. It being just simple object placement and layout edits.

I know with much more practice, you could make a much better hack than this. I wish you good luck.
