So I tried to make a custom boss. Of course, because I'm a noob I can't actually change the boss itself but I can easily change the footing... and add another ball.[IMG]

While practicing ASM I tried to make a Sonic CD style time travel warp:

It's far from perfect, but not that bad for a beginner right?

Also that centiseconds timer is not mine, it's from Mercury's ReadySonic.

    Very well done there!

For a beginner, I really like what I'm seeing. Keep it up!

Yes not bad at all! I did that once but I decided not to keep it because I wanted a more original way to time travel. Nice work sir!.

Looking good. I still wouldn't have the foggiest how to program something like that.

Though may I suggest changing it to use the Fade_To_White (is that it's name?) instead of the black to make the transition clearer.

Decided to make a video on something that I'm working on, kinda surprised this hasn't been done before (At least I haven't seen it.)

Still need to see if I can fix a few things.

That second palette is interesting. What if instead of selling it as time travel, you developed it as some kind of alternate dimension gimmick? Either way, great work!

That's really cool! It's a nice improvement because it seemed awkward in the original when running affected his spines more than standing on a moving plane. Nice Work!

@TheInvinsibleSun: Do you mean like An Ordinary Sonic Hack in terms of different dimensions being accessed through gameplay. That would be a really good idea and it would be nice to see this in something other than a horror game with no changes to layout or anything new. (I mean besides the alternate dimension)

Thank you all for the kind words, the time travel was just a personal coding challenge and I should probably finish it as 1 zone long hack. I'll attempt to create more original ideas when my ASM skill is higher.

Ha, I actually like this one. Great idea.

Haven't really gotten around in working on my mini hack as much but a bit of a W.I.P. im doing for the forground In GHZ, as well as some sprite changes courtesy of sprite artist Shinbaloonba with some minor edits I did for the quils to make it look more like his classic self:

Also loving those two zone art edits there Solar. any chance that we may see these along with the rest that you've shown in the past in this years SHC?

Sonic looks too much like he does in ThomasSpeedRunner's Sonic 2: The Rise of Chaos.

    It's the sa-

...well, amphobius beat me to it. I believe I have been ninja'd, and about my own hack nonetheless.

My name is now officially 50% false in that I'm not speedy at all.

Sunky's adventures continue in Level Pacguy's Favorite:

It's got tubes, platforms, bombs, spinning wheels, and more!

Also, the game is starting to become large in file size, and I've been thinking of splitting it into two parts. What do you think?

Yay! It's buitifuls! As for your other idea, maybe you could release half the levels in the first instalment, then have them altogether in the second, S3K style.
