I see here only wall is changed. The colors are nice but it seems that Sonic blends with wall.

 

A small challenge hack I've been working on. Everything you touch explodes. Including rings.

(Also, I'm wondering if I should make it so explosions kill you as well.)

 

That looks like it would be like something in-between Sonic 1 Omochao edition and OMG The Red Rings. The potential pain and frustration worries me, and yet I want to see it in action anyways...

Ok Pacguy, we get it, there is a glitch somewhere that's causing double posts. If you cared to read the topic in the suggestions forum, you'll see that there is fuck all we can do about it as it appears to be an internal ICS4 issue. You will also find that I told people to report the posts and they will be removed. So far, nobody has done so.

It's all very well for everyone to keep complaining about the issue, but nobody seems to actually be helping minimise the effect by letting us know where these posts are. We can't be expected to read every page of every topic every day to keep up with it. It's not causing you any harm, so deal with it.

 

I swear it's only this topic that has the issue. It doesn't happen anywhere else (or does on an extreme rare occasion which could be the poster's fault).

May I suggest (unless Stephen/Ordos says otherwise), to report double posts in any topic except this one? Otherwise the report centre is going to get busy pretty quick. I will be keeping an eye on this topic (I know there's one or two double posts in here already and I'll delete them when I'm home later this evening as I'm on my mobile right now).

It's yet another habit caused by my extreme OCD, I can't stand to see the "unread" flag on any forum I follow, so I must read everything whenever I see something new.

 

Another palette edit of LRZ...

 

So much purple and lack of proper palette shading. Although a good attempt. Study how LRZ2 changes the rocks to blue and try to shade the palette accordingly. Otherwise perhaps try to variate your colors. Not everything should be purple

 

@nineko: I do it too because this forum has a lot of interesting things and I don't want to skip days because I might be missing a conversation that I could get involved with and it would leave me with a ton of stuff to read later.

I don't think the want for knowledge is caused by OCD, it's just human nature.

I don't see anything different, you just added a monitor and altered the the palette (though I liked). Only that.

If you wanted show the palette, you could just show a screenshot.

​I mean, Marble Zone is my favorite zone in Sonic 1, but I kinda expected more than a palette hack to be showcased here. 

Also, please change the colors of the title screen. They clash really bad. 

 

Sonic also looks fairly odd. It could be because of the palette edit in Marble Zone.

 

​I like it so far! Feels very 8-bit.
