FoxConED and I are working on a Russian version of Rock 'n Roll Racing. As of this moment, I have ported the S2 Clone Driver by Clownacy instead of Sound Images and ported the original SFX to that new driver. Right now FoxConED is working on 16bit remixes of Russian Rock music.

On this very video you can hear a few seconds of the new tracks and new voice lines from Sienduk.

Some people say they like to make fangames rather than hacks because of the limited choice of colors they have.
But, I can't say this is a problem to me! With my tricks, I was able to reuse a lot of colors to give the illusion of more capability!

    upload_2019-4-3_18-27-18.png

    In this screenshot we have:

3 blues (Sonic, sky, and water)
    brown (for ground)
3 purples (for enemies, background cascades and mountains)
3 greens (for grass, background, and bridge logs)
2 reds (for enemies and Sonic)
    skin color
    yellow
    Bluish white
    And mettalic white!
    Total = 15 COLORS!

I also can't say this operation was easy to me, It was tricky as hell!

Here's the pallete row btw (the pink in the first row is for... Sonikko.)
    upload_2019-4-3_18-19-20.png

Also, besides color pallete, we have a new badnik as you can see! His name is "Micro-fish". He's pretty small and fast!
The graphics are done. But I need someone to help me program him.

Anyway, that's for today! Have a nice evening! ^u^

Aw, I thought Sonikko was gonna be a thing. :p

Loving those graphics there, WreckMan! The art is beautiful and it also reminds me of Chaotix!(I suppose that's what you're aiming for here, or something similar?)

Can't wait to see what else you do with this hack of yours next. :)

Well, I'm not basing in anything here, It's just my own style. I can say it's a heavy mashup between Sonic CD and Chaotix artstyle. :v

Here's an Idle I made for a while, I spent 2 months doing it!
It will definitely show you my way of doing things. ^u^
(It will not going to be in my final project BTW.)

Also, if you can't wait to see more updates of it, here's what I did today.

    upload_2019-4-4_17-48-53.png
I'm working on colors currently, but things are getting too bright. I'll try new colors and tones until I'm satisfied with my work.

And last but not least, Sonikko still going to be a thing, but don't say things like that, or else people here will classify you as one of twitter's perverts. heheh.

While I think the art is looking very nice and professional and fitting together very well, I do think you'd be better off crediting Stealth with the original foreground art that you've used as a base as well. I know you've mentioned it on Discord previously, but it'd be worth dropping a mention of it at some point when showing off work on forums because with the way this community runs, it'd only be a matter of time before someone started throwing around accusations of theft and such. Just a suggestion, as I noticed in an earlier post you stated the art was "100%" by you, and that's the kind of thing that will end up causing trouble for you at some point, even if you did rework the art slightly.

That said, I'm looking forward to seeing what else you come up with. It's not very often I keep an eye on hacks, but I'll be keeping an eye on this one for sure.

Gotta thank Markey for helping and explaining to me the elements of S1's debug mode.

Expect to see this sometime in a new revision of my disam. Also hoping to get a new folder layout. because Natsumi made me feel awful with the current one Another thing to look forward to: Equates!
Edit: No equates, they're a fucking nightmare to work with. Might have some for what I find useful.
Edit 2: Actually, I don't really feel like changing much in general. Whatever changes happen, happen.

While I'm not opposed to a colour change on the distant mountains as such, I find them to be too vibrant compared to the rest of the background so they don't really seem to fit so well. I'd suggest darkening them somewhat and maybe making the darkest blue a little paler and not so full on.

I gotta agree with Stephen. The background is now too lighten and it's resulting in a complete contrast against the foreground. I, particularly, preferred the very first edit you made on it. Make this background to be less... blue... and it will be much better.

So here is the final palette!
The previous image was just an edit, due to limitations.
Believe or not, I had to borrow one color from the greens :v
    upload_2019-4-12_21-40-28.png
Can you guess what color is?

I said it was too blue and you made the background be even more blue. :p
I like all the results (especially the last one which preserves the green better), though.

Do, I did a little break. I lost a lot of mental energy after doing all the art of my hack. Even If I only did a little and the level art is far of "50% completed", It's kinda exhausting.
But anyway, I still kept woking in my hack by doing small changes about the background color. And today, I feel my mental energy restored!
So here is what i did today. I began to do some Shrubs and leaves for Palmtree Falls. (the name of the zone)

Here's some shrubs from Collision Chaos, I'm basing in them to do my stuff
    upload_2019-4-16_13-18-57.png

Which is here. I also did two extra tiles. :v
    upload_2019-4-16_13-19-9.png

There's still a lot of graphics I need to do as well.
But fortunately, I'm still able to do some patterns with what I have now!

    upload_2019-4-16_13-23-54.png

with that said, everything still needs polishment, so i'm counting on you guys to talk about this. ^u^
