Sonic 2 Recreation

You would probably have an Eggman with a red face.


And you might have Sonic with red skin.

 

Will try it soon, but I'm pretty busy later and tomorrow.


Sonc won't go red, otherwise he be red already. We don't want RHS into the game, do we? ^_^

 

I don't know, do we? =P

 

He might have red skin, not hair. It's because the colour that is out of place for Knuckles looks very similar to one of the shades of skin, so it may make his skin red.

 

Tails orange isn't on Sonic's skin.

 

Hmm, in the picture it looked similar, I thought.

Knuckles title art is now green, like it is in S2K:





I've done the title art for my secret characters (except for the 3rd one). As I have done this, and added the new 3rd secret character, I have decided to reveal them, but I will not post any more shots of them after this post, unless that character has specifically been updated.


Anyway, when you complete the game, you will unlock character number 1:

In the umbrella one, it doesn't like some of my tiles, no idea why though (this happened with Tails falling sprite) so I will soon sort it out. Cream is still buggy but pretty much done.


All secret characters will NOT collect emeralds. I'll make them colect something else (for example, Cream finding 3 chaos in the levels, etc). And the secret characters may have their own levels (that Sonic, Tails and Knuckles can't go on). I am debating to make all secret characters have 7 levels as well, or just a limited.


And I am aware they are using Sonics life logo, but there we go, I nearly forgot, I changed the life logos.

It is great to see Red Hot Sonic back in the game again, in my opinion.

 

RHS actually looks pretty awesome using the Sonic 3k style sprites.

 

I'm totally loving the false joys.


But seriously, does redhotsonic (lolfanchar) have anything that distances himself from regular sonic? Does he shoot fireballs or something?

 

No! Dont put any of those new characters there! just sonic tails and knuckles. I hate cream and any of tose new characters!

 

I've stopped him (and Mighty) from doing the dash like Sonic does. I'm going make RHS have an ability rather than a move; he won't get hurt when contacted with fire. And for Mighty, I'm hoping to get him to do that wall-jump-thingamajig.

 

The addition of RHS I love, but Cream? I mean, does she at least use chao attacks?

 

I feel the same feeling of discomfort with Cream as well. I think it would be far better for you to just scrap that option all together. That, and the sprites look hideous.

 

Well, I hope you have fire or lava in most of the zones then, because it would just seem like a red sonic that's still speedy, but he withstands fire.


That's not much to distance him from regular sonic.


Or maybe I'm just complaining too much. But fan characters slightly do bother me a little.

 

Yeah, I'm okay enough with RHS being in the game, but I'm less concerned about Cream since Tails can fly and all as well. I think it would work a lot better if instead of Cream you put in one of the other rarely-used Sonic characters, Ray the flying squirrel.


He looks a bit more like Sonic and so like Mighty shouldn't be too hard to put into the game.

 

But Vector is better, I mean, he's never been used in a hack.

 

Well, I was going to do Shadow, but his running is too hard, plus he's been done many times.


It's been suggested that if I do want Cream in the game, I should use these sprites. What do you think?
