Thats quite nice not going To lie, some improvements can be made like credits at the bottom right of screen saying your name then 2022 or 2023 depending what you're aiming for what year to come out, another improvement can be the background, you can change the background to make not so default in sonic 1 but you might want to separate the title screen and green hill art so you can do anything with the background.

I'll try to see if I can like make a separate title screen art(BG) if I have ever got the chance. But yeah. I can't get the credits thing at the bottom because I don't want to =P.
    Anyhow, thanks. I appreciate it!

There is a guide about separate title screens on sonic retro, here's the link to it.

    Thanks)
I use a github disassembly of Sonic 2, and Sonic 2 Simon Wai beta. For sprite porting/editing I use SonMapEd

welp this sucks for my own sonic 2 beta port's below (I'm guessing the PLC's got removed) but it didn't originally look like this it just chunk's that had no Collison but then I discovered that there are actually chunks that are just random blocks.

well I used level converter and tbh, now I think of it, it doesn't do a great job at porting levels not goanna lie. I Tried editing its code for PLC's and all that stuff to see if that would work but it would just make it worse.

This is piece of unuseful code, imo. I had used it for porting GHZ 1 in S3, but it doesn't work!
Btw, you can use files from s2 beta in final disasm. You just need to compress blocks (16x16, or something)

This isn't related to sonic hacking but rather me trying to record a video on real hardware :/
let's say it didn't turn out well, it had a 2 second controller delay which is why I'm all over the place in the video.

So I just watched the footage you recorded from real hardware, and I must say, it does look awful. I do agree with you that this didn’t turn out too well in the end, with the picture continuously bouncing back and forth and the colors being nonexistent, leaving a black-and-white image (I do know that this is a modded Asian Mega Drive that supports NTSC-U signals, but I think the region switch is not set to US NTSC? I’m not too sure about that).

Not trying to bash you or anything, but I’ve seen a lot worse when it comes to capturing video footage from real hardware, and this might be the one on my list. Sorry about that, but you can do better.

EDIT: I might repeat myself from what I’ve said earlier, but as I rewatched the footage, judging by the slightly lower-pitched audio and black-and-white video with picture bouncing, I think the region is still set to PAL/SECAM mode (or NTSC-J mode, rather?) and not NTSC-U mode. Maybe set the switch to NTSC-U (if you have a region switch, which I don’t think you have)?

very bizarre but it is set To US NTSC which is interesting. also, I only have a Roxio game capture Pro HD And a Scrart to HDMI Converter Scaler that i bought from Amazon. And no, I don't have a region switch i have to actually go in the mega drive and mess around with the JP Signals to be PAL Which I'm not really going to do since it takes time, and I don't want to break stuff so that's my response.
Yes, it is NTSC-U Which is weird in my opinion.
EDIT: Now my only options are to replace the PAL Region colour chip with an NTSC Colour Chip to get colour by resoldering or buy a NTSC Region Mega drive (NTSC Mega drives are rare in my region which is why I had to go with PAL)

What's a good name for a project to work on?
clue: its level designs are going to be stunning.

Hard to do without any images to reference from. If you show some good screenshots and or gameplay, that would help create a better name.
