Again, I am impressed. You seem to have grasped assembly code incredibly quickly, as evidenced by porting Time Travel from Sonic CD in less than an hour.

If you can accomplish this in such a short amount of time, then what's possible from you over a longer amount of time fills me with anticipation.

Guys, here is another video. I think you'll like it.

I do not know ASM Sega Genesis.

So the new bosses don't wait. ._.

Really awesome artwork Hezon. Seriously, everything just looks so vibrant and in place, especially with that really nice palette. There could still stand to be a bit more to the background, but honestly it isn't bad at all.

I studied the whole day today the source code of the first

    Sonic.

He tried to figure out how to change the boss GHZ.

Suffered for six hours, and I was very impressed by the

    result.

I like it. It's crazy, chaotic, and an interesting take on this boss we've all seen so much of by now. Mind you, I think it would be really cool if it was used as a pinch mode after the original boss, but if you just want it to be completely new then that works too.

Decided to upload a video properly demonstrating the time travel effect. It also shows a couple new objects.

Haha. Well this is certainly a first that I've seen someone doing an ecco based sonic hack. Any chance of adding water to the stages at least?

Well, I've been thinking about this, actually. You see, I wanted to originally keep this as a quick joke for like, April Fools day or something, where Ecco just slowly flops around and does nothing, but I really do think I could do better. Labyrinth Zone is obviously going to be easy, because we have water there, but I really dunno about the other levels. :p

If any chance that you do decide to, there is a guide made by someone named tornado on here that shows how you can add water to the levels. Just letting you know if you didn't.

Alright. I'll have to check that out and try it. I think the hardest part of this would be getting Ecco's swimming physics in. It's just so unique in a way.

    Bahahahahahaha....

Now THIS is a brilliant idea. Flood some of the levels with water, and you've got yourself a unique hack!

The only level I think there's going to be a problem with is Marble Zone, but I suppose I'll get creative.

Still, this has the potential to be an awesome idea, sorry if I didn't mention that before.

As for Marble Zone, underwater volcanos.

My mind was just blown. Thank you folks for all of the support. I seriously didn't think one screenshot would get this much attention, buy, hey, it's fine by me.

Heh, that screen actually got a bit of a laugh out of me, just from how unexpected it was. I'd definitely like to see where this goes. It would certainly stand out among all the "x character" in Sonic 1 hacks.

Also, what could possibly go wrong with underwater Marble Zone? =P

Well, as you guys may know I'm a SMW hacker, usually I don't dedicate myself too much into it, what I did was to implement the Sonic 2 Two Player mode on SMW by using the same method Super Mario Kart did. I used the interlace + Pseudo Hi-Res mode for this, which makes the pic a bit big, nevertheless here's what I have so far.
