    Here's a video of my another hack(Sonic: Emerald Land). Showing a TropicalRevoid(Green Hill Zone) act1, the level is not 100% complete but is playable. So enjoy the video guys:

    I like it. But I noticed a little issue with objects.

    Bridge bases (IDk how is this names, stomps?) and SLZ's fireball maker bases use the same object slot, but SLZ's have 00 subtype and GHZ's - 03. TO fix this just change the subtypes in all these thingies you use to 03. Otherwise, I like it.

    Here is a video of my untitled GHZ1 act edit. There is a lot of bugs such as object 44 not working (Which is now fixed may I add) and the lamp post but fear not! These bugs will be fixed.

    Sorry for bad quality. I did not think that this video really needs rendering that much.

    One minor complaint I would have is that in the areas where the shading is dark, the colors don't fit well. Here's an example of what I'm talking about:

    There are other things but this in particular bugs me. Maybe do something like this?:

    Much better. The only other complaints I would have is that some of your platforms seem to just be floating in the air, and they just sort of... end.

    Once again, that can be polished later on, as I do understand that this is in early stages, but it's something to think about.

    I really like how this act is coming out. I have added some secrets and 3 paths. In the video I go the bottom path and the top path. If you want to see what the middle path looks like just PM me and I will send a rom your way.

    If I where you, I'd try to refrain from making videos until the layout of the entire zone is finished. Just saying.

    Don't put a loop, where the screen locks at the signpost, because if the player is not moving fast enough, Sonic will continue to try to walk up the slope, and the end of level title cards won't start, since Sonic has to be out of the cameras position to start it up. You of course could remove that part of code, in the signpost object. Also you still have some mismatching chunks, that are a turn off for players. You need to work on the palette a bit too, it's too bright in my opinion.

    The layout is pretty much finished. In fact this may be my last GHZ1 video. I said second last video in case someone notices something that I didn't. I know making so many public updates just makes things confusing but this is more for feedback and not for updating.

    I did take this loop ending into account. I want to keep this loop thing because I think it looks cool. I am thinking removing that part of the code is the best idea. I do add a spring to the left so you can pick up enough speed to get through the loop.

    I might be asking for too much here but could you explain where the mismatching chunks are? There is that one at the beginning but that is the only one I see.

    Oh really? I thought that is fault of " SignpostArtLoad routine". Because I expanded level. :p

    looking forward to this Sonic Master, seeing as how this would correct Richter for his "Loops" animations would be corrected. misplaced tiles.

    anyway...



    Super Richter Music updated, Original Sonic 1 DACs restored + S3K's as well to MegaPCM, S1SMPS2ASM to correct speeds & DACs, But now my custom Super Sonic music is glitched (the PSGs) it would be something if I could figure out, in ASM, How to switch out PSG voices. The S3K invincibility's would do fine, but i think I incorrectly changed something. No Matter.

    For Normal Richter he'll have his whip (Vampire Killer), Rings decrease on using his weapons, but for Super Richter he'll have a Flame Whip which has further reach, using weapons won't decrease rings.

    Richter was using a copied version of the converted to S1 S2animation code, but I commented out a few bits of code that contained $FFFFFE19, also commented out SuperRichterAniData all so that i can add more animations, Besides those bits of code was useless.

    I should also mention Richter's Loop sprites, some of the tiles are incorrectly placed.

    EDIT: you can see those misplaced tiles when Richter goes through that first loop.

    EDIT2: So Marky has more challenges. That first one is a pill enough. What will be in store this time I wonder?

    I appreciate the art and music changes, but richters playstyle is still completely identical to sonics, which is off putting. Also, you sat still doing nothing for about half of the video! That's just boring!

    I agree with TSB. I hope you release an SMPS of it someday!

    Anyways, the level's great! My only complaint would be the section in 0:25-0:30. Maybe add a breakable passage to lead to another area in that wall. Besides that, it's great!

    Actually that "Doing nothing for about half of the video" was only music showoff.

    Also that "Playstyle Identical to sonic's", I'm still trying to code in all of Richter's attacks. I have the Jumpdash code in for one of Richter's attacks, but it's not working for some reason. (will figure out sooner or later) Richter is still in the Beta Stages.
