Yeah, but not exactly because Sonic seems to be in mid-air. It's because all levels in Sonic hasn't this 3D appearance. But if he does the same in all the other levels, it would be interesting to have this aspect in a Sonic game. Why not to have? :(

EDIT: The floors as been changed to the shining island floor, but now, is changed another time (argh, are you fuckin' me?). And yes, sonic looks putted up a bit, just for a bug in a cutscene's timer, but it's now fixed

You post anything containing anything from Stealth's Project Mettrix and you're fucking gone. Pure and fucking simple. Markey got it from the horse's mouth that it's no-go fucking territory, and I'm gonna fucking ensure it remains that.

All right, I'll make sure to delete every single part of it, and change it back to the old shitty SLZ edit. well at least it contains some loops.

I suck at Original Zone ideas (expect realms)

but I'm going to try :)

TBH, I don't know what to think with this one, I always thought of them more as TV screens but you've turned them into actual monitors. :V

I'd say ney, but if you like it, keep it. To me, you actually managed to make the monitors look even more outdated than they already were. ^^'

I've always been a little bothered by the monitors though, and I think the more they look like monitors, the stranger they look to me xD

Funny thing is, while I hated the advance games (essentially because of their levels), I actually liked several design changes, such as the new monitors. I based mine on those, though their design is a little more complex for several reasons. Another option would be some kind of holographic device, or some electronic cage with the bonus in it.

If you want to keep the monitor style, I'd say you should make it look less bulky and add some details.

I disagree on basically all you said in this post. Was I the only one here that liked this monitor? Honestly I hated the advance games due to the same reason of you, but I sincerely do preference to the Sonic 2/Sonic 1 monitor styles because they are more classic due to its simplicity. I like this monitor style because it remembers some old PC monitors that were quite unique and had more visual details than the actual LCD monitors. So this work looks very nice for my eyes.

New SLZ, Replacing SLZ art to a clean GHZ with some ASM changes and shit.

Early Beta. The goal is to make a Jungle/Forest feel to the zone.

I'm having trouble importing Background art. (it works but it fucks the palletes real hard)

but I did download the software and other stuff for it to make it work.

i'll try importing SCD bg art then.

Try coming up with original bgs, or try a mish - mash of bgs to make a new one. You can use paint shop pro for this, and ifran view you can set the colours to 16 etc so that you have the right palette line to work with so that when you import it, it should be correct. As for your jungle themed level, have a look at sonic CD or s3k's AIZ. There's also leaf forest zone for the sonic advanced.

Do I hear echoing on the ring SFX? Because that is a fucking brilliant idea! Very simple, very clean, and the results are noticeable!

    Very nice, keep it up!

But, create the underwater knuckles palette, and (sorry if Im very perfectionist) at least, add a badnik, but from another zone, don't just the badniks originally on this level. After all, very nice, I like the art :D

(and I can see, you're a nice player. Really, I suck playing your hack :p)
