Could be an oasis, which means it could contain grass. Just throwing that one out there.

Trying to experiment with more natural looking palettes. The sky is definitely too dark, but what do you think about the water?

Tile edit is ok. But I don't like palette, brown is too bright and HUD needs more advanced edit.

The shades of brown are way too close together which looks awful. Try to do more diverse shades of brown.

The NEW High Tide Act 1!

This level seemed to go unnoticed when I last released this, so hopefully this show my full abilities in level editing!

The art seems to cluttered which makes it sort of distracting. If you look at the original Labyrinth Zone, you can see that there is a mixture of those detailed face blocks and some simpler looking blocks. Also, it bothers me less when simpler blocks are cut off or placed oddly.

I really like the Undertale music. You could use softer (as in more piano-like) voices to make sound a bit nicer.

That ending of the level has 2 things you shouldn't do, have the player have to be forced to play the special stage if they have 50 rings and ending underwater with out stopping the countdown after sonic exists off screen. The port was alright too but as like ProjectFM said you should change some of the voices to more softer ones.(my port of it suffers this as well) As for the art it does seem cluttered also that pallette is kind of ugly IMO, might want to redo that.

Just so you know, LuigiXHero's Sonic North Island also uses that tileset (although nothing has really been done with it in the latest release). I like the idea of using Scrap Brain's objects because of how mechanical Sunset Park already is. This could make for an interesting and fun level.

i'm planning on redoing the background at some point, not sure when I'll do it or what I'll do. For now something without parallax scrolling

The art style of this Film Reel, so to speak, reminds me much of SegaSonic the Hedgehog, it never had something such as this in the game anywhere in the official release(s) but this art reminds me strongly of it for some reason, very well detailed and lush in all of the correct forms.
Having Sonic as a shade of Violet here works well too, I always felt that Sonic's body must turn Violet or Purple in the sunset and this pulls it off perfectly; Jester's Challenge did the same thing when it was set to the Fire World preset for Param Zone, not sure if it had any influence for the creation of this Film Reel but I truly do enjoy what I'm seeing, whatever your next work is will definitely be a good one, I can already feel it to be true! :)

Pay attention to the background here.

I may use this in an actual hack when I get proper art.
