Oooh, I see. It's not that there's anything wrong with how you have it setout, that's all fine. It's the ASM68K.EXE, it would appear you're using a different kind of ASM68K to the rest of ours, the versions are the same, except ours has a label saying it was edited by Nemesis in 2007, while yours does not.

Simply replace that old one with this new one. All you'll need to do now, is fix those spindash errors (Which were probably caused by the spindash guide on SonicRetro which has been messed with, and has not been corrected).

Ya know? I just don't see it! I can see a "Prt Sc" on mine, but there's no "PrntScrn", oh boy, what should I do..

Really? That must mean that different keyboards have different buttons! :)

Jokes aside, if you can't do a basic print screen, you really, really shouldn't be ROM hacking.

OK, serious time now, "why not?" is the question, just because one does not know how to perform a print screen function with an operating system, is no reason why they cannot; program, make music, or even generate art, for a megadrive game. It's like saying "You don't know how to use a knife, so you shouldn't be eating a bowl of cereal". It has almost nothing to do with making a game for a megadrive at all, it's a useful piece of knowledge, agreed, but not 100% necessary.

I don't believe you got what I meant.

For example, simple tasks like making a print screen, or pasting something into a text files are basic computer knowledge. Things like ROM hacking, from a beg inner's viewpoint, is 'cool'. However, ROM hacking is somewhat difficult in reality, something much technical more than a print screen.

And I don't believe you got what I meant either.

I can understand how something simple such as knowing how to printscreen is generally a lot more easier to "understand", but it's the case of "if" they got around to discovering it or not. Not knowing the printscreen function because you haven't attempted nor had any knowledge of it's existance, does not mean a person is stupid by anymeans nor does it mean they cannot handle tasks such as working with programming languages, or anything else for that matter. Saying that one should not be capable of understanding something complexe as making a game because they know nothing of a shortcut key, is just assuming without all the facts.

It does seem logical that one who does not know how to perform a simple action, should not be able to understand a more complexe action, I agree. But in reality it's not the case, and you know it, "Albert Einstein" is an example of this, he had been know to have had speech difficulties at a young age, where any normal young person would have no trouble at all, but non-the less he was considered very intelligent and has proven that regardless of the simple knowledge a person lacks, they can still have knowledge of something more complicated.
