Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't this chip (along with the YM2612) present in the Megadrive/Genesis as well? Because the YM2612 and SN76489 would give the Genesis 10 channels, right? Very interesting read, along with the page it links to (this page). Thanks for sharing!
