So, I've seen that Showroom is back. ( ;) )

I use Wacky Workbench skin, but Showroom doesn't work on classic skin. Can someone fix it (for users that use classic skin)?

Wacky Workbench and Neo Blu are Tier 1 updated skins.

    Classic is Tier 2.

Users of the SSRG Classic skin can expect updates to be slower to that skin, but they will happen, usually within a week of the others being updated since it's basically at the the bottom of the pile right now.

Showroom is open however the Project Manager is still not complete, I aim to get this finished ASAP.

I'm glad for seeing Showroom. I'm planning a hack in winter because I am too busy now...

Classic should be updated but I'll be damned if any of the vomit from the other skins leak into it.

    Excuse me?

I simply haven't really had the impetus to invest time in the Showroom until this weekend when I decided to pick it up. I am not "whipped" by anyone and I find being spoken about in such away quite frankly insulting.

I maintain this site for my enjoyment, if I find I stop enjoying it, I take a break. I am not you nor anyone elses development slave.

You can't take a joke any more?

I could say more, but there's really no point to it. I've talked to you about things to fix on the Showroom and talked to Ordos over other things on here which are going to be looked at. That's all I need to say. If you have a problem with this post, hit me up on PM or MSN.

EDIT: While I'm at it, I think a better colour needs to be used for the Showroom link on the forums. It might stand it, but it looks annoying on the Wacky Workbench skin.

Sorry SOTI, but I feel that comment was frankly unnecessary.

I know as still a bit a nOob on this site I shouldn't be suggesting anything

to any of the bigger administrators, but I think someone might have pissed in your drink...

I don't feel the need to insult you, nor do I try. QJimbo tries his best to keep the site running

to it's full potential. When people disrespect him after all of his work, it really can sting.

IF you would like to get this finished "ASAP", I could try to do it. I've been waiting for like 5 months to get a use out of my "Project Supervisor" status and yet the only thing that happened in this catogory was MarkeyJester being moved into the Staff category.

I was thinking about Hacktube, because when I go to Hacktube, it says: Hacktube is closed as updates take place. I was also thinking about: when will those updates be finished?

Hacktube isn't coming back. Not only was it causing legal issues for both Mega Drive emulators used, but it was unmoderated, leading to shitty hacks and of course, made the SSRG look like the focus was on Hacktube, which was disappointing.

I will say this though, Qjimbo did have an idea on bringing it back, but it wouldn't work right now. There needs to be a new online emulator made, but that isn't going to happen for a long time.

Depends on if anyone is willing to front the money to have a freelance java programmer make one.

Besides the emulator, hacktube will probably be open again once everything is finished. HOWEVER: It will be read-only, meaning no hacks can be uploaded anymore, because this will happen with the new projects page.

Considering that this new project system is going to be moderated, this might be a good idea. Again, it all depends on a legal online Mega Drive emulator. I'm sure that there was a Google Adsense thing going on with money going towards a flash MD emulator being made, but nobody took up the offer on a request board.

I can't imagine Flash being capable of console emulation, maybe ActionScript is capable but I think in this situation Java might be better to go with, Flash seems to be rather resource intensive as of late.

Yeah, me too. Flash is primitive to do something like that.
