I love the way people describe the zones in hacks like they're going to be something completely brand new and exciting. Sounds better than just saying "Green Hill Zone with pink blocks".

Holy shit; you're still about, jasonchrist? :)

Anyway, I agree with your point, so, what are you trying to get at? =P

Looking forward to playing this at SHC this year if it does indeed get through as an entry, then. I'm quite curious to see how this turns out and am hoping it's a good one.

Just watched 1-7! Sadly, I won't be working with disassemblies anytime soon... Probably next year, I'll start on my own non-team hack and experiment with SonED2

Just made this tile! Tile 001 Custom GHZ.PNG

His programs just blinked on the screen...   Any ideas on why it does this?

Thanks!! I might restart S1TMBE in the future to include new features like new tiles, bosses, etc.

Thanks for the feedback everyone! I will get onto fixing the problems soon!

Command Line Interface, look it up. It pops up and goes away because you're not supposed to double-click on it.

What am I supposed to do then?

I've just thought up a brand new name for my hack!

    "SONIC 1 - WARPED WORLD"

Can someone please either show me how to change the topic name or change it for me? It's probably blindingly obvious...   = /

And, I made some box art for my old version.

    Hope you like it!

You're supposed to open up command prompt and work your way to the directory of the program using "cd" (change directory) and then you type out the program name and its arguments.

For SMPSConv, converting from S3K/S3D (they both use the same sound driver) to S1, you would use something like this:

SMPSConv S3K-S1 "input.bin" "output.bin""SMPSConv" is the name of the program you're using, then you have the arguments: "S3K-S1", "input.bin", and "output.bin".

S3K-S1 indicates we are converting a song from S3K/S3D format to S1's format. "input.bin" is out input file to convert. "output.bin" is the name of the file that you can choose for the converted file.

Another way for you to do this to to make a .bat (batch) file (you can just simply make a blank .txt file and change the extension to .bat, .bat files are just text files with each line as a command for command prompt) and put the command in there, and then put "pause" at the end.

Trialists can't edit the topic name until they're at least a member.

Would anyone be able to change it for me or is it only me that can do it?

Ralakimus, THANK YOU! The converter works good now! Pretty much no more use of MID2SMPS now. Would there be any chance of Sonic CD SMPS ports or is that just plain out of the question. Specifically, Stardust Speedway Present US and Metallic Madness Present JP/EU.

    Once again, THANK YOU RALAKIMUS!!!

I believe members of staff can change topic titles.
