Speed, I'd think that would be very cool to see him go insane, but what way does he go insane then? Does he start walking backwards? Do you lose control of where he walks? Does he loose abilities to kill the enemies and freaks out?

Please reply to me when you next come here.

    (Ring Ride 2 - 65535 rings)  :p.

I know. I checked it before. I want to see someone else play it with 63335/65535 rings as well while recording! That'd be cool.

Accually, not really. Some drugs can make you feel sleepy and with the whole 'Sonic gets sleepier with each ring he collects" thing, No weight gain included.

Or with each ring collected, the screen becomes darker to simulate tiredness.

If you had too much rings you would be playing PITCH BLACK SONIC EDITION.

I'm going to say this only once, because a warning is always due, but you can bet your ass I'm going to take action the next time.

    • Don't triple post. Edit your post, you can copy the quotes manually if you can't use the Multiquote feature for whatever reason.
    • Don't post using all the colours of the rainbow for no reason. Colours are meant to emphasize an important point of your post, they're not designed to make the forum look like a Christmas tree. Besides, moderation edits are usually marked in red and you're only adding confusion to the mix.
Thanks for your time, and make sure your next 12 posts are better than your first 8 or... else.

Why the fuck does he have to reply to you when he gets back? Are you his girlfriend, sister, mother? No. He has no obligation to reply to you, in fact, fuck you. There's your reply.

What the fuck does that even mean? I'm being serious, what the actual fuck does that mean? 63335/65535 rings? Are we doing fractions now? Ok then, let's do fractions.

*Whips out calculator and does some quick math.*

So you want him to record the game while only holding ALMOST 1 whole ring? Well shit, ANY idiot could do that. I'm starting to suspect you are somebody from before who got banned....

Also, just in case nineko didn't make his point clear enough.

STOP FUCKING POSTING IN COLOR. IT'S FUCKING ANNOYING UP THE ASS. WHAT ARE YOU, 10, or ALMOST 11?

Seriously though, quit it. Nobody fucking likes it.

Erm, I think the 63335/65535 means that out of the possible 65535 rings you can have stored (a word value of FFFF), he want to see someone do it with 63335. Although I suspect he actually meant to write 65535/65535, meaning he wanted to see someone do it with the maximum ring count. It's a very common way of writing X out of Y statements when it comes to figures, so you've actually just made yourself look a complete dickhead.

As for the "please reply" bit, he was politely asking if he could have a response to his questions. To be honest, you might do well to develop some social skills yourself because you clearly lack any form of politeness and courtesy yourself.

Finally, the coloured text needs to stop. Coloured text is there for emphasis and for the admin and staff to leave notes for the member or to hightlight key issues. Please respond with acknowledgement so that I can see you have read this. If no response is made within the next 24 hours, I'll send a PM to ensure the message is received.

I believe he was using the forward slash to mean either 65535, or 63335, since both numbers were posted in the thread. Slashes are often written/typed between two words to express/show this. Seeing the other number (that he didn't post) used by someone else/another user, he may have been confused as to what the right/correct number was, thus causing him to decide to type both, in order to catch/capture both numbers/values and solve the confusion.

You're giving him way too much credit. I really doubt he meant that, or even knew how to write in that format, seeing as how this guy can barely understand how to play a ROM in an emulator much less even have the slightest clue as to what a word value is.

Yeah, calling bullshit. I bet if I said the exact same thing in any post on here, I'd get chewed out by other members. Since when do you "politely" ask somebody for a reply on a forum because you want them to respond to you specifically. There's a difference between asking...

"Hey guys, I made something. Opinions?"

    and

"When you (insert member name) comes and looks at this, can you please respond to me?"

I've NEVER seen that done on a forum and is left alone. I've looked on Retro, SSRG, and various other forums. On the rare occurrence that it happens, said user gets chewed out. Why? Because he's making a personal demand to be responded to said member. It doesn't matter how nice the "request" sounds, it's still a demand, cause said user wants to be specifically addressed.

Also, on that side note. I have great social skillz, mutha fucka! I got more street cred than any of these SuperEggz on here, you heard?

In all seriousness though, I have good social skills and know how to communicate with people. I'm sorry if you disagree, but I seem mean because l'm blunt. Fuck being nice when stupidity is being presented. If you(general you, not you StephenUK) don't want to hear what I have to say, fair enough, but I respond to thing as I see fit, and consider many things. If somebody is being stupid, and it's a continuous thing, not an out of the blue event, I will treat you like an idiot, because it is obvious that being nice will only reward the behavior.

I've still been thinking on what the third one could be about.

    Ummmmm......

What about with each ring colected, water starts to rise untill the whole level is underwater.

    Is that too much?

    Man my brain hurts.

    too much thinking. :(

As an insane kleptomaniac when it comes to the classic Sonic games I'd definitely love to play a hack like that!

The thing is, With Labyrinth zone, It would be even harder.

so more air bubbles will or might need to be placed.

I was thinking about LZ, too. But I've been thinking in the other way around. Air bubbles shouldn't be present in any level, so they should be removed from LZ too; and LZ should start with no water, too. At least, that's how I'd do it. I wish my main computer was working so I'd do that for real since it's so trivial :(

Feels like a heat wave when the effect happens. It is an excellent hack i've played although labyrinth zone might need more air bubbles when it comes to the ring ride

You ever heard of "Dark Hole zone"? It's Mystic Cave zone, only with the lanterns burnt out... Look it up if you get the chance  :read:

    You have a point there.
But how would it affect the bosses and stuff?

If there were no air bubbles, it would even out the difficulty when your underwater.
