Sonic Adventure Generations

As the name suggests, this mod is going to be a level pack that brings a Sonic Adventure theme to the game. There will be 7 levels (and it will take forever to finish, lol). A major update is coming in the next month or so!

I can't wait until the contest!! I've been waiting for this hack since the first day I heard it was conceptualised <3 That Emerald Coast is sexy as fuck and keeps true to the original feel as well as being a "Generations level design" twist on it. In other words, this is very true to the original Generations concept =) I'm impressed!!

 

Man, these kinds of things are why I am so glad I got Generations on PC. I tell you the 4th series of the Sonic Hack Showcase are gonna be interesting if I can throw Generations stuff in there.

This kinda looks waaay bigger than the actual Emerald Coast. Super good job, though! Nostalgia to the max!

 

Everything would be even better if the textures got an update.

 

I actually wish to see the unused rendering model of Sonic 06. That realistic fur texture looked very well on him, but his cartoon like style threw it off. I Don't think it would be possible do work with that much detail on the model, would it? Or would you have to make a drastic engine change?

 

Someone should totally remake Sonic 06 on the Sonic Generations engine! So it will actually be PLAYABLE! :3

 

I believe somebody on Sonic retro already remade Wave Ocean: Speed Zone on the Sonic Generations engine. It looks less chopped than 06. It's the style that makes the game play more enjoyable. The only thing that is actually worse about the game play, is that the Egg carrier wasn't a part of the stage (Not Seen at all in SGPC), and the fact that thin loop has auto track collision that makes the character stay in bounds of the loop; which causes the camera to follow Sonic while it is inside the geometry of the loop. But other than that, It was great. The enemies are also different than the actual 06 Title as well.

I'm not sure if anyone has seen this yet, but it's another teaser of Sonic Adventure Generations that has been released to the public. I know it should probably be Dude posting this, but I saw this and was completely blown away. I just HAD to share the link with anyone here who hadn't seen it!! =)

Omg, I'm having a total Nostalgiagasm right now! That looks so sick! I hope they add the whale in, lol.

 

They have the planks where the whale chased you in the level and the whale models are already IN generations, so the whale chase scene, although I'm not sure, seems like a sure bet =)

 

I KNOW RIGHT? That's what I said lol.

 

Hopefully, SEGA will release a patch on 06. I talked to the customer service yesterday. They are highly considering it.

Sorry but I just had to laugh. I highly doubt Sega cares about Sonic 06 anymore. Just saying.


If they do, then I will eat my own words, lol. I really hope they release this game on Steam.
