    UPDATE:

    Frozen Maze zone

well, what do you think so far? it's still early beta, and i don't know what to add to the backround. (other than ice cap backround)I think i will put some slants, and maybe some hills in the foreground. The first level will be outside, (well thats the plan) and the second will be like inside of a ice cavern which may use the ice cap backround inside, or a backround i had my eye on :). The third will hopefully be a bit of both in and out. Also, work on silver has started.

Its okay but, it can be better. Why is the top of the water green?

I think for the background you can add snow falling, some clouds, icecaps in the water and a mountain.

Well the water is green because its labyrinth zone.(in other words i haven't changed it yet). Other than the backround, what do i need to perhaps change in the foreground? i don't think i'll change the frozen block tiles, because i like it. Plus give me some credit i am shit at art.

The snow needs some sort of pattern in there. It's far too bland.

Edit: Never mind better quality video is up now Sonic the hedgehog revalation video 1

Update: Hello guys, here is my first video of my hack. Sorry the quality is bad but after a tip I may delete the video in the near future and try again. But for now you will see the options menu, the new titlescreen!! still needs a bit of work, and ghz act 1 and act 2.(yes there is a lot of unfinished art and bugs but I haven't got the time to do everything at the moment) The music playing for the titlescreen music is SK title music,(ported by myself =P) options menu music is evening star from Knuckles Chaotix, ghz 1 plays green grove act 1, and ghz 2 plays angel island zone act 2. (Link removed)

I feel I need to provide you with the important public service of making you aware that you spelled "Revelation" wrong. I trust that you will correct this pertinent mistake as quickly as possible and to the best of your ability. God speed!

For what it's worth, I think there's a bit too much 'empty sky blue' behind the letters. And the title itself would look better sized a bit larger, I think? All in all, not bad though!

I would make them larger if I new how, but you can't load the title mappings in sonMAPED.

The title screen is okay but it needs improvement like what T said. Also change the background color there is too much blue in there, it doesn't look right.

    In response to the video:

That level looks easy and the boss is just as easy. Try making the boss move from side to side and when you get close to beating him make the spinning ball move faster.

Syxx, I don't know how to do that, boss editing is hard for me and I'm trying to learn it.

Title screen looks great, just move the T over one pixel and make the I bigger.

Also, don't use ESE music porter, its ports have PSG impurities and don't support the pitch bend (don't remember what it was), this is most noticable with the titile screen music, and it just sounds ugly. Level tiles need finishing, spring needs to be reshaded, explosion needs to be reshaded.

And I like the boss, except the flat environement makes it very easy to beat, perhaps have it in a half pipe?

Thanks Irixion, I did change the boss slightly though he again moves side to side, but with a bit more greater difference when he turns back, he also moves faster. As for the titlescreen, I'll do my best =P and yes I know the tile art needs fixing. But because it's taking a while, and I'm doing it pixel by pixel, I get bored when I'm editing it to long. Thus see an uncomplete art for a while until i can be bothered or motivated to finish it. I'm crap at art, its not for me. Also, Irixion sorry to disapoint you but i port the title screen my self. I ripped the music and converted it using music pointer fixer, then added the drums. To be honest I want to fix it because in my opinion it does sound kinda terrible.

Ah, well it sounds exactly like what ESE music porter would do, it wouldn't port the pitch bend flags :p. They need to be changed, again, I don't remember so go ask Tweaker or something =P

It got a quite a number of bugs, but who's hacks doesn't. The Palette could use a tweak, Shadow still have Sonic's looking up sprite, you die if you go to fast when finishing the level, you glitch a little when you die, and I gltched when I ran up a ramp with a spring above me, and its some others but I forgot.

You got to work on the level design, Palette, sprite and bug fixes. I still think this hack can be great, and I want you to improve.

Also I love some of the remixed you did to the songs.
