Every time I try to fix it, though, the problem just gets worse.

And then there's the issue with Super Tails' animations. So yeah.

For the ring art, it is being overwritten with your new monitor art. I would delete the art for the two 2P versus monitors and the two extra tiles you imported with the spring art. This should reduce the tiles enough so they don't overwrite the ring art.

Edit: Also it looks like you didnt align your spring tiles properly before you imported them. I would delete those too and re import them after you align them right (look how the other monitor tiles are aligned).

Umm we can't even test it, since we don't know what level select sounds to play to activate the all emeralds cheat code.
Edit: Dont add , "so yeah" at the end of your sentences, you piss people off that way, since it sounds pushy, even If that's not your intension.

I bet it is being overwritten. However, to make the new sprite, I had exported the teleport monitor sprite to image, then edited the central image in Graphics Gale to match what it is now.

Umm we can't even test it, since we don't know what level select sounds to play to activate the all emeralds cheat code.

Easy, you don't activate the all emeralds cheat code; it's not there. :p The emeralds requirement has been removed, since I've gotten rid of the 7 emeralds code. It's for testing purposes ;)

Also, sorry about the sounding pushy; I'm not trying to sound that way =(

EDIT: To go Super, jump and press A with at least 50 rings.

EDIT 2: So, rings display correctly now. Now it's just a matter of fixing Super Tails.

You still have not finished importing the peelout sprites, btw and the reason the animation doesnt show up is because you have the speed set to high, Sonic in your game doesnt go to speed $900, if you want him to, change his top speed to $900, but you will have to do it in multiple areas. Also whats up with your jumpdash, all it does is push Sonic over like 10 pixels, very slowly I might add, then he falls streight down, ( he is supposed to fall forward at an angle, gaining at least 200 pixels, just for example) to the ground, gaining only that 10 pixel distance? Also still dont understand why you dont use object ram flags for Tails flight, instead you insist on using that flight property, thing for Tails flight when it obviousy does nothing, and I know thats the reason because thats the only thing thats different from the code my friend and I made. If you want Tails to fly use the code we gave you (chaning certain parts to fit the HG disassembly of course), also its not wise to modify someone elses code, especially since we didnt give you permission, we just thought you would edit it so it would fit the HG disassembly.

    ...

    Allow me to clarify.

I didn't need help with the Super Peel-Out sprites. I needed help with SUPER TAILS' sprites. The problem has NOTHING to do with Sonic. Never even got around to finishing importing those Super Peel-Out sprites, anyway, though I will eventually.

Have you looked at Modern Sonic's jumpdash-thing-whatever-the-hell-it-is? If not, you most likely don't know what I was going for. I purposely coded my jumpdash so that it acts the way Modern Sonic's does. If there's an issue with me being unique and not implementing it in a way that allows one to abuse it to gain speed, then I don't know what to tell you.

I'm not even gonna try to explain this. I'll just put it bluntly.

YOU DID NOTHING TO WORK OFF MY CODE.

Hell, I'm the one who even gave you two my original code in the first place, and then you two go and completely scrap it. You call that fair? I gave you my original code because I trusted you with it. Thinking about it, I kind of regret doing that.

Basically, the way I'm interpreting this section of your post is, you think it's perfectly fine to scrap my code and make entirely new code that would force me to change a bunch of things OUTSIDE of Tails' code, but when I change the code in order for it to work with certain parameters, you're like, "OH GOD NO."

Things like this remind me of why I didn't feel welcome here in the first place.

Now, let's get back on the topic of the issues I was talking about before...

The rings issue has been fixed (hooray :)), but I still am confused on the other issue. How would the issue with Super Tails be fixed?

If you gave use your code and we scrap it then it tecnically isnt your code anymore.

Y-actually, I'll talk to you about this through PM. Let's get back on the topic of the Super Tails issue I'm having...

Let's not.  I'm sorry, but 27 pages is getting quite ridiculous, and I'm getting a bit lazy.  Just study what's wrong with Tails animation and just see why for yourself.  Read this whole topic of 27 pages and if you haven't learnt anything yet, then I am starting to think there is no hope.

I know I shouldn't, and I'm probably a bad person because of this, but, this thread annoys me. It just seems unfair a 27 topic just to help you with your hack. I am making my game all by myself, I don't want to make you feel bad, but just make what you can by yourself.

You really aren't the only one who's annoyed.

I have learnt stuff from all this, I really have. The issue, though, is that I've tried a bunch of stuff to fix the Super Tails issue, but no dice.

I've tried, and one thing has succeeded (I recently re-coded my jumpdash to function the way Modern Sonic's does).
