    I like this hack, because:
    - I love Sonic 4 ep. 2 SMPS and Cursed Casino Zone music Act 1.
    - Sonic realized he can swim in LZ and art and Ristar music are amazing for me.
    Time for complains:
    - Title screen has tiles with dark brown color and this looks ugly for me.
    - First zone Act 2 has moving spikes, that when these spikes "hide" in tiles, you can see hided spikes on tiles, I think high/low planes problems...

Overall, keep it up. I like this! :)

    Update.
    • Dropped the name "Sonic 1 Reimagined"
    • Finished Radiant Ruins zone, and altered some graphics
    • Removed Starlight Zone from the level flow until I begin work on it
    • Finished Act 1 of Robo Reactor zone*
    • Changed some of the drum samples
    • Minor layout edits
*The fans and seesaws don't have the proper graphics, because, for some reason, the game won't let me change the PLC's for Scrap Brain without the game bugging out, I'll try to fix it soon.

    edit: fixed level select text

That Castlevania 3 music in Robo Reactor Zone is fucking amazing!
Is this the kind of laid-back post this forum needs, Natsumi?

Oh boy, you don't know how glad I am that you chose that sample for the SEGA Choir. I haven't said this earlier, but your hack has great music choices, really. I also love the palettes of each and every zone, They are pleasing to the eyes.

Excuse me for the bad comment i have put there the first time...
This hack is very very good!

And the Radiant Ruins used the Sonic Megamix's music of the 3rd act of Misty Maze?

@Ashuro That track is originally from Ristar. Both Megamix and this hack used it and I see no problem with that.

@Ashuro This specific thread isn't the best place to ask, to be honest.

Ristar uses SMPS, just like the Sonic games. Porting is pretty trivial, dual DAC channel shenanigans aside.

This hack is one of my favourites. There's nothing much, but the attention to detail is so amazing and it's so accurate!

Just a minor flaw: finish the grass in GHZ.

Ah, I like how this is going - definitely much more sophisticated than your older versions. I specially like the level art edits, though I would suggest changes for Cursed Casino to give it a more 'eery' ambiance, and edit Marble Zone more. Though I get this is a prototype so things are obviously incomplete. Hope you get to finish it, this has promise!

EDIT: Somebody here said something I was going to point out already but I'm going to echo that anyway. That falling sprite, although cool-looking, doesn't match the other sprites, I mean, the sprite style looks slightly different. You might need to try retouching it a bit.

Ok I played until I died. Which was Cursed Casino.
Act 3 of Cursed Casino's music is not looped. It suddently stopped.
GHZ Grass is not done yet.

However I really like this hack! It's really nicely made.

That loud nigra sega chant man lol... classic. Just got around trying this out recently and so far, I'm liking how this looks. like most have already said, the layouts and palettes are good, as well as some the art. One thing that did kind of unexpectedly make me stop was that the final zone was not finished, but I'm guessing you're still working on it so it's understandable. overall for the most part, I had fun playing this and I'll be looking forward to more of this.
