Fucking hell, I thought all notifications were supposed to be customizable by default.

Me too, my email app filled up 16 emails in few hours. Even making or replying to a thread.

EDIT: Another problem, usernames can use numbers in the profile.

No, it isn't a problem. Re-read the rules to find out why.

Weird little issue - If you click and change the time period on the "new content" page within about 10 or so seconds of loading the page it it gives an error message and tells you to wait 10 seconds before continuing.

edit: it seems that there's a deliberate 10 second limit on "searching" the forums, probably to prevent DDOS attacks, and the new content page performs a search every time it's loaded... I dunno if this is a real problem or something that should have been given a better explanation on the error page

As far as I'm aware, flood control has always been enabled for the reason you stated, it helps prevent DDOS attacks. It can easily be removed, but personally I find the feature to be beneficial. Retro also uses flood control, and it has been a staple part of the IPB setup as long as I can remember.

Staff Online seems fucked as I only see admins show up and not mods.

Also Ordos when you make the new theme, can you colour code usernames again?

Also having issues with Staff Online, though for me it doesn't always appear. As for Staff not appearing on it, well I've not seen that happen, yet. Mainly because I've always been the only staff member online.

As for the coloured display names in post profiles, that was actually done with a forum hook/plugin on IPB 3.4. The coder of the plugin hasn't released an incarnation of it for ICS 4.0. At least, not yet.

Invision have removed both of those functions from Community Suite. Don't know if they have any plans to re-add them. But, if someone releases a forum plugin or app on the Invision Marketplace that re-implements both fucntions, then I'll definitely download and install it.

There's no place to edit my signature. And the update broke it somewhat.

Either that, or the option is buried in some obscure corner of the forums that I can't be arsed to look for.

EDIT: Also, when you hit Return it advances two lines instead of one like it should.

Top right of the screen, click your name, select Account Settings, there's a Signature tab at the right.

When you're replying to statuses, your avatar still has the circle.

The actual reply doesn't have the circle avatar.

Shall I mention here that even when I tell my notifications that I "read this page," it's still in there.
That kinda makes things un-organized, I'm sorry, I just gotta speak up.

When I get a PM, it notifies me in my notifications, despite the fact that both options are right next to each other and highlight themselves in the exact same way. Why the fuck would it tell me this if the mere act of seeing it highlighted tells me I have a message? Not to mention the fact that the notification about it is still highlighted after I read the message

Most of what's you guys are reporting are actual issues with the Community Suite itself, and we'll just have to wait for IP to get round to fixing them.

Anyway, I've upload the new default theme and also did my best to "fix" the double line break thing. The double line break crap will still happen in the post box when you're typing your replies out. The fix will kick in when you actually submit your reply. The new theme still needs some minor tweaking and a bunch of images still need to be added to it.

Are URL based avatars done by another plugin that needs to be added?

URL based avatars should be working. Otherwise, my avatar wouldn't be visible.

There seems to be some major issue with posting, causing double posts.  I don't believe it's us, I clicked the "Submit Reply" button once, and once only.  Yes, it did delay and take quite the time to post, but I can confirm that the button was clicked only once, and it still rendered a second post.

    Any ideas?

Check out TmanDaRoboNinja's profile page, and select the Status Feed tab. That message sounds like it's meant for the profile owner.

EDIT: I just experienced what MarkeyJester detailed. My browser's tab pretty much hanged.

The button at the top of most topics that sends you to the first post on that topic that you haven't read is gone.
