    Code:
Yeah I told Oerg he could release new versions of xm3smps, that's right.

He can't release the sources though or I'll rape him.

This file being hosted on my webspace should be enough as guarantee since Oerg doesn't have the password for my ftp.

However please note that I'm not supporting his releases in any way, so if he broke something, complain to him, not to me. The xm3smps project is dead for me.

Remember when nineko said that the xm3smps project is dead? Well, it isn't anymore now, as I have the special right and opportunity to continue and eventually release a new version called Xm3smps Oergomized. It will contain new features, to name some: Debug window that lets you see what happened if something went wrong, or just to protocol your progress. Also, you can now specify path and filename of the output that's created. Plus, you can specify the path the voices are loaded from. This variable is saved in a file called "xm3path.ini" Another thing that I'm working on the option to SAVE YOUR PROGRESS. That means when you are quitting the program and it crashes, you can still work on it because an auto-save that can be loaded in case of a crash is created every time you press the convert-button. I already wrote 5 sheets of paper full of notes for it, coming to the conclusion that the files may be large, but working.

Oh, and, the program lets you call a compile-batch-file for, say, a disassembly after conversion.

I'll leave you with some screenshots.

This is interesting. Even though I prefer xm4smps it's good to see a spinoff of this converter.

Maybe you could add the ability to export the music using s1smps2asm (like xm4smps does) but unless you make it do the commands it needs I doubt it'll be possible.

Look's like some people will have to get used to noise in the DAC channel, then

You can easily import your own DAC into the program, that's not a problem.

Also, an impression of the semi-new GUI (ICONS are temporary)

What about to make the voice preview in octave per octave?

Something like in MVStracker. Per example:

[octave number (Drop down menu)] [button to test it]

When pressed the button, the note can be played in only a note repeatedly.

Voice preview and ASM conversion is all I needed to fall in love with this. :3 But I agree with Irix, those icons are crap.

    Can't wait for a release though. =P
