Nick Arcade was a old show on nickalodeon where players versed each other in video games. well, one episode featured sonic 2. This version of sonic 2 was not the final or our the beta. I will show you the difference between this ver,the beta and final. Emerald Hill Zone Lets take a look at the begining of the level  you will first notice that tails is missing. tails was not yet implemented into the game. Next you will notice the pallete is brighter (this could be from the screen or picture quality). sonic 2 beta is on the left and the nick version is on the right   Ok it doesnt take a scientist to figure ut the sprites look weird, and they are. take a look at the timer. in the nick ver. the rings overlap the timer in the beta they dont. take a look at the the bushs there transparent and alot lighter    in the final there alot darker and easier to see Chemical Plant Zone Take a good look at the background, part of the bulding is missing  now take a look at the finals background  Now lets compare the two in instant replay  made by ICEknight misc facts | |
