Sega tera-Drive The tera drive was one of sega's most rare and best things they ever made it was a computer with mega drive support. its was way ahead of its time, too ahead. im trying to get my hands on one but sadly must say its very hard and S&H will cost about $100. so lets take a look at the stats plays mega drive games throught tv hookups. has a v-DOS OS, unknown version made: may 1991 only released in Japan CPU: Intel 80286 + Motorola MC68000 + Zilog Z80A (used for sound system) speed: 10 MHz color: 64 for computer mode, 512 for mega drive. rarity: this will not be easy to find, most likly should start looking at www.ebay.co.uk price: I dont know how much it will cost but it will cost over $100 for S&H. As you can see this is vaery nice system that sega should be proud of, but you just want to shoot sega for not releasing it in america, oh well *note to self: goto japan and look for tera drive =P*. i would give anything t own one od these. if any one has one please contact me.
