They didn't go quite as smoothly as I intended, and I may redo the second at some point (since there were a few unfortunate mistakes made!) however here they are! The video tutorials section now features Part 1 and 2 of my beginners guide to using assembly programming in the Sonic engine. Due to the fact I had to resetup everything, Part 1 doesn't have a mouse cursor (I forgot to disable VMWare's pointer integration...) however I don't think it effects the tutorial much.

I am also currently in the process of outlining a series of video tutorials on how to create a completely original Sonic level using SonED2. If anyone with some experience in this wants to help out, contact me through the usual channels.

I know this defeats the purpose of a video tutorial however would it be possible to include the original text-based guide (currently hosted on the Sonic Retro wiki) as well?

Yes I'm planning to do that once I get things organized in that section. I think it would be neat to have text-based versions of all the tutorials really.

Great Tutorial! But the Screen size is too small... not very good for ConTEXT... and your Voice is sometimes a bit too fast! I can't understand every singel word! :)

Fixed, I had the link on the page wrong. Thanks for pointing that out.

I have extensive experience with SonED2. I'd be happy to offer assistance if you need it.

Also, is just about everyone on the SSRG german now? lol
