I've been working on a hack for a few months now, but I still haven't came up with a name for it. Screens below, background is placeholder.

Nice art, but the background hurts the eyes. Nice to hear it's just a placeholder. Good work combining Sonic 1 and 2 art!

 

The art is looking splendid. Glad to see you're still in the hacking business.

 

Isn't this level similar to a zone from Project Chaos? Good work if you can maintain it.

 

Yeah what was that level called? Great gate? or something like that. Anyways I always liked the look of that level.

 

Yeah it is the same zone in theory, although it's having a name change and complete graphics overhaul as you can see. The only thing that's really being retained is the theme, I kinda drifted away from the old zone and wasn't too keen on it. Hopefully this new zone will live up to being significantly better than it's predecessor.

 

If I consider how are you levels, I can think in Sonic The Hedgehog Natural Edition... But I'm not sure anyway : /
