    I can't use SonED 2,because i have an error message...


    Failed Initializing DirectDraw...


    Crap,help please!


    I have Windows XP SP2.

    Is this error coming as soon you click SonED2.exe or when opening the project?

    Is DirectX fully up to date? If not download the March 2009 release and install it.


    Oh, and ditch the fan character avatar. Those are frowned upon in the Sonic modification community.

    I have updated DirectX,and the error come when i click in the .exe.

    Perhaps you don't have the latest drivers installed for your graphics card or onboard graphics if that's what you're using? DirectDraw isn't usually too fussy though so that is rather strange.

    I update my drivers,and that's ALWAYS don't work!

    I had this error before, it was caused by some virus. More than SonED2 was affected too.


    The only way I was able to fix it was by using system restore.
