Has everybody bored or something? Artwork is good as usual, both Solar's and Painto's. One question to each of you: Will this artwork be added to your hacks? I hope that answer'll be "yes".

Markey needs to get bored more often :p According to you lot you all become REALLY productive when you're bored. Maybe we'll get Panna 2 if Markey's entertainment level droops to zero.

But anyway, the art looks great Pantio. I really like the way you're drawing the level geometry.

Not bad, though perhaps have the leaves of the trees completely gone rather than having rip holes in them, maybe a few of the trees could be snapped at the trunk, with the top half missing!

That's looking good so far! How about adding some smooth curves to the level and maybe some different chunks to the mix?

There are a few level designs for Megamix I've done that aren't ready for showing yet, be patient, and you'll get to see them eventually

between you and me, SSZ is on its way to a redesign right now d=

I'd love to see a video (series?) of someone just doing level art with whatever editor that's used to come up with some of these. They're really inspiring.

Hey guys, even though its taking an eternity I am still working on Sonic 1: Sonic CD Edition. With that said I've been working on the tube details for green hill future and need some opinions on my changes. Which you like better and so on.

    After

You may need to save the image and zoom in a bit to look at the detail. I've pretty much just added a line around the edge to make it look more like a tube. For anyone wondering, the brown ones are the good future and the grey ones are the bad future.

I like the bottom set a tad more.

I'd say go with the second one. Looks more suitable and the lining on the pipes also goes together good.

I don't know. I like the lining on the second one, but somehow it looks a bit more flat than the first one, which is kind of odd for a tube. I'd probably still go with the second one though, because that small extra detail just looks good. I just wish it was slightly more round looking.

Painto:  That's a good remake of Marble Zone Act 2.  You impress me with your work.

For those who remember my old video from my hydrocity  zone (my first post). Now I made improvement on it, with level design & layout organized, alternative ways and new palette:

    I would like some opinions.

Really loving the palette here, it looks all the lights are off. I also like the more compartmentalized layout of the zone (with more explorable nooks and crannies and alternate paths abound), with the Carnival Night boosters aiding the quick areas (another neat touch).

Now THAT is what I call a good level layout. Explorable pathways, no dick moves, even various puzzles to make you think of how you're going to tackle it. Well done!
