General Screenshot/Movie Thread

The artwork here is stunning, but make sure to make foreground and background as filled as possible, because right now this looks empty.

 

Of course, this is a beta, but the BG takes way too many tiles at the moment. I can't go over board, well I could but it would hurt the Bg. In otherwords, as it is, the BG is what you see there and will not change unless I remove a fuck ton of tiles. Think of this like route99 from SA. I'm already working on the FG, to see how much space I have.

 

I'd say make big buildings a bit taller so there won't be a big empty space between small buildings and big ones

I loved the art anyway, and looks like we'll have a different gameplay here.

I'm also worried if that does have something do with your signature...

 

I'm not going to spoil anything about the hack in screenshots, but I'd just like to mention that it has nothing to do with my signature.
My signature is just a reference to an awful hack I made 2 years or so ago.

Anyway, this looks quite interesting and is something that i'm looking forward to seeing reactions to.

Yùndòng Zìxíngchē (translated from Chinese to English as Sports Bike; alternatively known as Exercise Bike when translated from Chinese to Japanese to English) is indeed a title that I will be speedrunning to the best of my ability for this year's SHCDQ, this is something that I would expect out of design schemes from 1989 to 1993, it kind of reminds me a bit of Dick Tracy, Castle of Illusion, Gynoug/Wings of Wor, and even City Heroes (for some reason) combined, given the art selection for this one, everything simply blends in perfectly, no two ways about it.
Also, it must not ever go without saying that I am glad that this work pulls off what Mitch (ZC Quest) and Project MD did and delivers to us a Heart based Health Point system, I have been wanting to view a Health system other than Rings in a Sonic title for an extremely long time, so this is very welcoming; some of my oldest idea concepts from 2006 to 2009 had a similar thing in mind, only mine is a Health/Technique/Skill Point and Experience Point/Stat Level system that was similar to Phantasy Star: The End of the Millennium and Castlevania: Symphony of the Night/Dracula X: Nocturne in the Moonlight, similar in concept to the original titles in full with certain modifications.

Again, cannot stress enough how much I am loving what I am viewing here, truly cannot wait to dissect all of the level routes and make it my way to the end as fast as probable, this is debatably one of the best that we have viewed up to this point in time, for sure, can't wait for the fun!

The sarcasm wasn't obvious at all. Consider making it obvious first before posting sarcasm if you want to make it clear.

 

I specially putted this emoji " " to make this more clear, that I'm not talking serious. Maybe I should use " ". For me this discussion is kinda stupid and I'm just treating Roya with smile in my face, because my yelling will not change his style of posts.

 

Just use [/sarcasm] at the end of the sentence. It's basically the accepted sign for sarcasm on teh internets at this point. Emoticons show emotional state, not voice inflection.
