People of SSRG, it is with a heavy heart that I announce that, starting today, ROM hacking is officially, and completely, forbidden. Though this may seem senseless at first, we have decided to follow in the footsteps of some of the greatest game producers of our time, and not allow fan creations that draw any influence from Sega's works. In addition to this, we will rebrand ourselves as the Sonic Stuff Reverence Group: dedicated to voicing our endless and unconditional praise of Sega and all their works. But no fanart, no music remixes, fangames, and especially no hacks. You must understand, Sega's characters and other properties are not to be depicted without permission, and to make such creations without their blessing is an act of blasphemy, as well as a sickening violation of Sega's intellectual rights. Do not be fooled: the people who create these works do not do so because they respect and admire Sega, and wish to show their creative strengths while spreading the word of Sega and their great IPs such as Sonic the Hedgehog. No, they instead seek to erode Sega's foundations, and collapse their entire empire! As true fans of Sega, we simply cannot allow this to happen. As our bold first step into this new era of darkness, we have already begun taking legal action against the Another Classic Sonic Sequel project, for the heinous act of being made by fans. We hope you will instead invest your time and money in the upcoming Sonic Mania Plus... also made by fans. Alright, that's the Easter post out of the way... I wonder what I should write for April Fools'?
