Poll: Editing S1 Chaos Emerald art

Some Sonic 1 hacks have custom Chaos Emerald designs. So I want your opinion on the best possible alternative design for the S1 Chaos Emeralds. Take your time and cast your vote.

You really need to sort out this arrogant attitude, coz you're really starting to piss me off with it now.


If he wishes to make polls to help him reach decisions on his hack, that's up to him. I used to do it and it helped a lot, so I'm not going to discourage it, and it's not your place to say what is and isn't allowed on these forums.

 

I liked the Sonic 1 design the best, myself--you should keep it.

 

I like the SA series' emeralds, I also like the 2D emeralds in Sonic Heroes.

 

always liked the diamond cut emeralds..........maybe the sonic 3d blast too (if you can make it spin like in the game)

 

I would like to see something new and refreshing, just look at my sig. and you'll know which one I voted.


But if I had a second choice, I would use Sonic CD's Time Stones.

 

Like people take everything I say seriously. My main point wasn't to discourage it, my main point was to say that 'hey, your other topics got trashed '. Nothing more.


Anyway, Sonic 1's look great. I never liked the sonic advance ones, they look like the cheap dollar store shit. The redesign for the 3D games such as sonic heroes look like emeralds to me, so I'd like those best.

 

Sonic 1. Sonic 2 and the other games doesn't really have good a CE design!

 

Keep the Sonic 1's emerald style. It's really better and beautiful than the other ones.

 

Tweaker, I'm surprised you commented and voted on this poll. But I tried my best to replicate the SA emeralds as close as possible. I like that design anyways. To me, it's fitting to the hack and to my liking. And I did take size into consideration. So far with my hack, I have spindash, music, and all bug fixes. Next, we're going to port Tails and Knuckles. But if I'm permabanned, there's almost nothing I can do. I hate to disagree, but I want to use a different design. I have real good art skills and you'll see why when the hack is released.
