Since I'm not going to drive anyone crazy I'll just ask my few questions here.

    1) In SonMapEd what are the sprite mappings for the title screen?

    2) In SonMapEd what is the palette for title Title Sonic?

Please answer all the questions you can. Thank you.

    1. The mappings are sadly not stored in normal ASM files. They are stored in enigma format, which is in mapeni and mapeni_u. But I don't know how to open those files as well. I just pick the part of the tiles I want to edit. This is harder, but it works.

    2. It's also in the normal palette file (pallet\title.bin). But you need to click Settings -> Tile Rendering -> Render starting with palette X. I'm not sure which number is correct. I guess it was 2, but just try all 4.

Use this for editing enigma mappings.

Everytime I try to load it, it cancels out. I think it's because I'm using a newer computer.

Did you? follow what it sais correctly. If you did, it would work. Think 'you need to pass project files to the program on commandline' which the project files for sonic 2 are there but not for sonic 1.

In a way that answers my question. I'm using Sonic 1 so far now I'll just edit the tiles separately.
