Is there any emulator that not gens that disables layers in Genesis roms (not gens) or is there any way to get sonik sprite editor to work when I'm in gens or after I close out of gens? By that I mean when ever I load up gens then sonik sprite editor or I close out of gens and then load sonic sprite editor I only get the outline of the sprite I try and edit.

    Whats wrong with Gens?

You could try using Genecyst, there's a guide to get that working on modern windows systems iirc.

    No, it's Gens/GS.

I'm pretty sure the problem you're having is that regular Gens forces 16-bit color. I reworked Gens/GS a while back so it runs in 32-bit color mode without having to do color depth switching, so you should be able to use it normally.

Yeah, most people won't actually check something out and just say shit anyway. I'm impressed that you added these features in, and reminds me of the was genecyst could do this. Bravo.
