Is it possible to port the SegaCD Model 1 Sega Screen to Sonic 1? I know it is possible since some hacks had it, and I mostly got a static screen to display, but without all the fancy music or pallete cycles. Where exactly in the BIOS ROM are the palletes and Music located? I'm guessing that the music is in the Genesis Format, not the CD Audio crap.

There are several ways to generate the look of a Bios screen onto a megadrive, including music. But to explain it here means that from this moment on, everyone will want to use it, and it will eventually piss everyone off.

Wouldn't it be better to say, "recreate the screen", rather than search the bios boot data for it?

EDIT: Also the music is in SMPS format iirc, with the PCM channels being used for bass.

Yes, what I meant by searching the bios for it was the music. I managed to modify the screen to fit my needs but the only thing missing is the Music. What kinds of things indicate where the Music is, like headers?

Just a little question, are you talking about this BIOS? Or

I think there are even more.

The first one. Does anyone have any idea where the music is located in the BIOS or what headers or stuff it has so I can find it?
