Ahahaha, oh that is brilliant, amazingly the sprites fit perfectly in terms of how the game actually plays, you've put it together rather nicely I must say.

    Nice work!

First post and you come out with this? Genius!

I downloaded it, and expected a half-ass effort, doing a couple of sprites, and expecting to see a flash of Sonic here and there. This wasn't the case. It was neatly done, and each sprite was very clear to see.

If I had to point bugs out, then the only one I spotted was:

There's just a slight bit of red in front of him and behind his tail. That's it.

Your next job, is to put Babs in Sonic 2 =P

Wow good job. You do not know how good it felt to see that buster has passed act 1 instead of sonic has passed act 1 that is a personal pet peeve of mine when people edit sprites without editing the sonic has passed act x screen so I am glad to see that you editing that screen and also of course when changing the character palette changes are needed and you have pulled that off very well on some sprite hacks the only the character looks correct but in your hack everything still looks normal that is a another good thing to see. I think this is a very good sprite hack also did you make the sprites if so you are a very talented spriter.

Cool! Nice to see Buster Bunny in a Sonic game as the star of the show.

    The animations are very smooth!

I dislike when people dismiss replacing all of the sprites (notably, when sonic gets in contact with different angles, it still shows its original sprites instead of the new character's), but you did a very complete job here. Not a single frame was left out!

It's indeed very nice and pleasing to finally see a character hack with the angles done. And rather than just replacing sprites, you even edited the animations.

Now, if you want to complete it, you could change the sprite on the continue screen, the mini sonic continue icon and the sprite on the final screen (buster entering the black hole could work there if you don't have/want to make a big version).

I climbed the rom with bug fixes.

The "ending" is not original :p

But I think it is complete

It still says "Sonic the hedgehog" at the end, but at least the sprites are fully done now. Also, you've fixed that bug I pointed out. And I found the continue Buster kind of cute =P

    Very good work.

These text which says "IN" and "SONIC" in the title screen are too far from each other.

Awesome work, I really felt like playing a original game. Awesomely made! Now all that Buster Bunny is needing, is to perform a wall jump like on his original game.

If you have enough VRAM, you should make it say 'IN SONIC THE HEDGEHOG'. I think it would fit, right? :p If not then move the two words closer together, and at least add a 1 after Sonic. On a side note, why is he not approved as a member yet?

He is not approved as a member yet because he hasn't used up his trial posts.

    Getting off that subject...

Yeah sure, there will be enough VRAM space for that, you have the space where the springs, spikes and other object art is loaded to, those of which never show up in the credits, the HUD isn't displaying, and neither are the monitors. But, I suppose that's up to Gsonic15 on how he would like to carry this.
