To cut it short, this was only of my first hacks and every time my interest in it was revived, the hack died again.

Now lets revive that interest again and hope it stays.

Heres a screenshot bla bla bla.

    I modified the trees art.

I also modified the play list.

So far the only level modified is Emerald Hill Zone 1 and 2 but I plan to do more.

As the games speak more than words, here it is.

    Release 1

I would fix it, but the sad problem is, I can't fix the pallet without compromising another section of it.

The general idea of the zone is actually suppose to be a drought, in act 1 anyway.

    What would it compromise?

Yeah, that pallette seriously burns the hell out of my eyes, I'd suggest a brownish ground pallete, and maybe a slightly brighter sky.

One solution, as long as it may take, would be to edit the tiles so certain sections take on another palette value.

That doesn't burn my eyes; but looks like emerald hill is burning :)

Also, the blue-ish clouds with the orange sky is... well, don't fit.

Along with this comes a question.

How do you disable Casino Night Zones rotating palettes? They are stopping the tiles working in practice.

You're using Xenowhirl's disassembly, right? Go to PalCycle and replace the dc.w PalCycle_CNZ - PalCycle with dc.w PalCycle_Null - PalCycle

I'm not too fond of those tiles... Add some variety, please.

I'm not too fond of the repetition of those tiles. They could use some more designs and work, though I'm not sure what game those two are from.

Don't worry, I'm gradually adding more to the tiles.

I just need to take advantage of the extra pallet lines at some point :p
