Ive been Hacking Sonic One's ASM using things other people posted for about a month, but i want to learn how to asm hack with my own knowledge. For Example, I want to learn what all the Gibber Jabber (scripts and text) in the asm mean, and how to edit them. What im trying to ask is, if someone can teach me how to asm hack properly. Help?

I'd link some standard guides/lists from Retro, but it's down. I am in the process of explaining the assembly language itself though:

    Tutorial

It's incomplete, so don't complain about some areas of missing information.

Amazing tutorial, Markey! Earlier today I was looking for a 68k guide with more info than the one that RHS did, and then you post this :U

    Great job!

Do you realize just how good of a teacher you are? You are legendary.

I could totally learn off of this. Awesome.

Aw, that's nice of you to add that in =P

By the way, I suggest changing the background for the guide? As it's does my eyes in when trying to read the guide, will read the whole thing tomorrow as got to get some sleep now =P

EDIT: Somewhere on the forums is my guide pinned. Can I add a link to it leading to yours too?
