You'll have to bring much more to the table if you want people to perceive this as more than a "Make this hack for me" thread and join you in your endeavor. I think you should try and learn how to implement a lot of these things yourself (there is a wealth of information to help you out), and then come back later when you have something interesting that people will want join you to work on. You have good plans, but you've shown this much too early.

    Good luck!

I agree with TheInvisibleSun here. Implementing a spindash, taking a screenshot, and calling it a day doesn't show any skills programing-wise, nor does it warrant you saying "Wanna do a collab project?" I'm all for team-ups, but you need to show WHY we should want to team up with you. Put something on the table that, not only shows your skills, but impresses us enough to want to team-up with you. Get it?

    • Don't quote a post if it's directly above your one.
    • Why are "o" and "i" lowercase in your post?
    • Also yeah, what everyone else said.

I understand, we all have habits after all :)

Many staff members, for example, have the habit to look at how trial members post to decide if they're worthy to be promoted to full members or not.

Hum okay, you forgot to make backups, right? Well, i'd recomend you to always make a backup of your hack's disassembly each time you edit something (Thing I always do, trust me, it helps a LOT) or add something new. Now, "Source for the hack got corrupted"... hmm, are you getting errors or did you screw up something? You can ask what are the errors that the compiler gives you so we can try to help you, rather than having to restart the work you've made in the past days. Also you can restore the original files from the game from a clean disasm.

Also, why don't you just tell what did you just did to get your source "corrupted", since the source can't get corrupted by doing nothing.

You should use a source code management system in addition to backups.

There's a bit of a learning curve to both of these, but the benefits massively outweigh the slight overhead. As an example, suppose you make a change that ends up breaking the ROM. With an SCMS, you can bisect your previous changes to figure out exactly what change broke it, and then either revert the change or fix it. Without an SCMS, you're pretty much screwed.

Simply add 'pause' at the end of the build.bat file. You should be able to see the errors you get.
