I didn't even know. :V
Sounds fun anyway. Do I get a preview? lol
Yeah, be actually on IRC =P
Another palette by Mike.
Edit: Just imagen Egg Rocket Zone (from Sonic advance 1) music playing.
and 2 more by me
Song: Volcano Vally from Sonic 3D.
Edit: Chaged MGZ pic
MCZ looks awesome, but I can't be sure about the grey rails. As for MGZ, you might want to show another picture, as half of the foreground covers this one.
Brown rails. You might want to make them grey. I seem to be losing my shit nowadays.
It's alright dude. Yeah makes sense I will do that.
Hey guys, I need your opinion about the next palette:
Sandopolis 1 night palette
Is it good?
Lots of blue. 'Nuff said =P
Too saturated for a night level (the background, anyway), not to mention how monochromatic it is. Personally, I'd also adjust the hue to lean slightly more towards cyan.
This realtime Lua palette editor is amazing. Not making a S3k hack, just going to hopefully port the colors over to my Sonic 1 project and make new art for it. Always gotta start with a good palette, you know?
I think we can customize the stage to fit the situation. I'll get a couple of designs in the works here in a couple of weeks. Graduation is surely taking a toll on my time, but hey; its all good.
Also that screenshot doesn't exactly show off what I have been working with. That palette is actually a bad example of my work. I'll work on this as well.
That looks rather surreal, but I like it. Good one.
Wow thats colorful and flows quite nicely. Good Work, cant wait to see what kind of art you create to fit the colors for this zone in your Sonic 1 hack.
Another palette this time for MTZ act 2, this one is actually made by me this time.
Seems to be factory of Bronze perhaps? The artwork for that stage is too dull for my attention really.
You could say that Mike, yes.
Hey, what`s on today?
Beta, early beta. SBZ bg is only "FAST_PAINTING", used to remove darkness.
redhotsonic edit: It wasn't necessary to use the spoiler tag here.
It's a good start but seems to bit a bit 'intense'. Try making it just a little darker to make it easy on the eyes.
