1103 Lava Reef Zone is in. It just needs to have the collision fixed and badnik art
@saan1ty It's great that you are working on your project and making progress, but can you please refrain from multi posting like this? You've posted 4 times in a row with no response. I'd recommend you think about what your posts and whether it's worth sharing before doing so. There's also an edit button which I would recommend you consider using for some updates.

Proto LRZ and more changes taking place. I really, really like how Azure Lake came out.
Oh yeah, and Sonic's sprites got changed slightly
Bringing back the Prototype Lava Reef Zone is an interesting one. I've always been under the impression that it was changed for reason, but I don't know what that reason is. It doesn't look too bad here, though.
I also like the change to Azure Lake's palette. It's subtle, but looks pretty good.
The reason I did it is because I like how the pipes are the yellow color and other subtle design elements of it like the palette.
This sprite change is something I can get behind. It does not clash with the game's style, while also giving Sonic new poses and animations. Looking forward to seeing more of this.
Lovin' the azure lake zone. Looks very pleasing. Also I like the Sonic's pose. Would hopefully to see full thing soon. Good luck

My best guess as to the reason is just that they felt like a warmer pallete was more fitting for Act 1.
That's probably the reason (palette wise), but what I wonder is why they changed how the pipes and some other designs where
Sky Sanctuary has received a new palette, of which I really like.
Knuckles' sprites use the green socks without effecting the HUD.
You wanted to make glitter for the numbers, but you didn't succeed

The score, time and rings numbers are darker than they should.

It's just using the HUD art from the November 3 prototype,
The fact that the numbers are darker is because the number shading using Line 1 which can create some issues with the shading, likely why it was removed from the final game. I will end up making it use the player palette eventually.
A new Sky Sanctuary Palette has been made by one of my team members. I really like it!
After a while of waiting and pointing for you to go, Sonic just is done with it and falls asleep.
He stays in this frame (right image) until you decide to move. I might add some little Zs that come out from Sonic too
