So i got to Spring yard act 2 and im going to say that I dont really like this hack. Super Sonic is very glitchy(and doesnt even have a unique palette!), Object design is bad at times, althougyh music is good and level design is good. 6/10

you should add the palette to him instead of deleting him(also fun fact Power sonic's transformation code exists in the first 2 demos of my romhack but was placed in the wrong area of code)
Im going to be honest, this hack looks nice, it has a good future. <3 For me the sprites of this version (the ERaZor ones) looks nice for me lol.

That's concerning: OuricoDoido was infamous for ripping things from other hacks and releasing them in asset packs. Using parts of other people's hacks in your hacks without their approval is looked down upon.
I couldn't agree more. However, from looking at the sound test, those generic S3K ports (with the wrong PSG envelopes being mapped with that higher octave and all) were most likely taken from the project, so I wouldn't consider those tracks to be stolen assets. So, it's nothing too serious, but it is indeed worth addressing. @Joao Gamer - I highly suggest avoiding using anything from that open-source project in future builds and instead trying to port those tracks yourself. If you don't plan to change sound drivers and stick to Sonic 1's, ValleyBell's SMPS Converter will do the trick. If you are using the latest Git disassembly, I would go ahead and use smps2asm to replace some of those tracks with much better ports. There's also Clowancy's music porting tutorials if you fancy more accurate results.
Thanks for the help, Delta, i agree with you ValleyBell's SMPSConverter can do pretty great ports, however i cant port songs that use UVB, I am using Hivebrain 2005 disasm as the disasm on this hack
Here's the UVB on the house. Just drop it to the SMPS Converter folder and it will automatically enable UVB for certain tracks utilizing that. You need to double-check if the offset is correct before converting which the converter warns you about otherwise, the tool won't port the track well for you. The SMPS Research Pack does provide the correct ones in some of the filenames for a few SMPS tracks and you can also take a look here as well.
AFAIK OuricoDodio's music ports are 100% made by him and are easily re-creatable using the old ESEII music porter from 2007. They're not stolen; they're just bad ports.
Yeah, i remember making a hack that there was music ported with ESEII Sound Importer and it was the same from STHOSP, but ESEII sucks as hell due of how old it is and bad to port, And Music Pointer Fixer... I still use it lol, it sucks tho port music because the psg sound terrible and sonic 2's instruments sound bad, SMPSConv is the best one, vgm2smps can port music too
