A common question I see being answered too much is "what if Sonic 2 had its scrapped zones restored in the final game" and here comes another variable in the overused question: SUPER SPEED! Unique boss fights for the scrapped zones and OWZ's layouts are also unfinished, alongside some other code related quirks. This hack is not related to the Project Speems 2024 hack I announced back in April. There is no current release date set, although I hope to complete this hack before the year is over. *Jovial Tundra is the name I'm using for the winter zone. I've seen people claim Rock World is the name but that was attributed to a past version of Sand Shower, and does not seem to make sense for the winter/Christmas aesthetic.
I honestly really like the direction this is going in! However, taking a look at Ocean Wind’s background (Smart idea using the S3 title BG), I do think that the vast sea might be a little too empty? Maybe position the BG a little lower down? But other than that little gripe, cant wait to see where this goes!
