It's just a series of FF's. 80 bytes of them in fact.

It won't work, because technically, it's not a Mega Drive ROM at all. It's just a binary file with 80 bytes of FF, named "s1built.bin".

    Wait, I'm confused.

    Screwing with asm creates FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF.

    Unexpected.exe has stopped unexpectedly.

    I am an ASM noob.

This is due to an error (or possible multiple errors) you have made when writing code. You're using the Hivebrain disassembly, right? If so, open the build.bat file in Notepad or something similar and add a pause at the end.  Save it and run it, and you should see the errors you made.

Now, have some links that will help you:

Also, why was this posted in the Showroom section? Shouldn't it be in the Discussion and Q&A section?

I didn't think that it was meant to go there.

Though, I like to mess with physics (No slope resistance, lack of walking animation, ECT.

    Unable to initialize device PRN.

And ILLEGAL VALUE at line 24622.

Alright, go to that line in the sonic1.asm file, and take the basic error fixing guide I linked above into account.

I usually have a backup.of the asm in case something goes wrong.

No problem really, I just screw around with physics.
