File deletion and Level Order

So, just before I will post a technically demo of my hack "Sonic 1 SSRG", I want to ask you something:


-Well, I just wanted to delete all .bin data of the game, which I don't need (This includes demo, levels, special stage and other things) . I deleted the "incbin" of the data, too. But I get still some error messages.


-So, the demo will just use one Level called Home Zone (GHZ) Act 1.. I saw, that I have to do this with Hex and I went to Sonic Retro for more information but with no results.


-And the last thing I wanted to ask you: How the hell do I remove level select? I just removed debug mode..

To remove level select you're going to either have to get rid of the screen's code, or any method of access. To get rid of the levels, you're either going to have to manually delete everything (which will be pointless) or make the level unloadable and blank. (my messing the PLCs up so the game freezes upon load, etc)

Okay, well, then I have another idea.. I hope it works.

Selbi.. I don't want to change the level select. I just want to remove it completly.

Yeah, thanks. And this problem was fixed by Special Stage Ring.
