It's looking pretty good. Though something that my eyes can't ignore is how some of it uses many colors, and other parts look like they use very limited colors.

    Last screenshots of Marble.

    Marble is still Marble.

I'll probably modify some details in the future, but for now I consider it's done.

Also, something that's been in for more than 6 months now but I've never shown before, the "multishield" monitor:

The player can choose his shield (golden, fire, electric, bubble; only golden and bubble when Sonic is under water). It stops changing when the player jumps or rolls to avoid last 1/60th of second shield change. Of course the classic shield is still in game, in other monitors. The special shields have a priority. So, by default, if the player breaks a classic shield monitor, he'll keep the special shield, but holding "up" overrides this.

@SInsanity: I thought the golden one before reading it was gold, was "Lemons" XD. Nice idea though.

@rika_chou: That's probably why the Wings seems to have a higher standard. I'm not really sure on what I can do to improve it, but I knew it needed it. Any ideas?

@ SI: That shield is very nice.

@ BFLP: Good titlescreen, I love it.

I love what you've been doing here, even though it isn't massively different, it feels different, which is what's important in a sonic game.

First thing I noticed was that you've got some custom background deformation there, it's very nice. Good job!

Xero: Your hack is improving, good job.

Blazefirelp: I don't mind the titlescreen, looks nice, especially the backround =).

SpirituInsanum: I can't get over how fantastic your marble zone looks. Also intregued by the multi shield =P.

I still am struggling to find out how to improve it though. It seems to lack something. Maybe certain color blends?

Well I guess sonic could be bigger, as previously said before. The emblem looks a tad too big for him.

I'm still working on that one, but I really mean color scheme wise.

Well, it would need red to look more like the originals, but if you don't have the ribbon there, I guess it's because you don't want one.

Now, if you can consider adding one but don't want the classic ribbon, you can try something like the one from Wonderboy 3: Monster Lair (not Dragon's Trap). You could make it red-white-red like the classic, but keep this smaller design.

Sounds good, but on the other side way too chilled for a "Speed-Up" Music. Unless this is supposed to be a joke of course. =P

I agree with Selbi, but it could work depending on how long the "speed-up" lasts and on the effect itself.

It seems to fit better as a slow sneaker monitor. Like said, unless you increased the speed, that would proberly do it. Sounds nice in general though.l

Background is only a mockup, and the background is only 50% drawn, but this should give you an idea of what it's gonna look like.

Those mountains are sick, especially if they're hand drawn! Awesome!

I hope you don't take offence by this but for some reason I think the bricks are of less quality compared to the background, pillar and other tiles. They seem either, too shaded, too simplistic, or there is not enough going on. Maybe you could try to make a surface part for the tiles to give it a bit more variation? Just a though.

this is probably by far one of the most awesome art edits I have seen in awhile. the mountains are very well detailed and everthing else IMO I honestly like alot especially since the art is original. looking foward to this. aside that, is it me or is it getting a bit chilly in here [IMG]

though it's not fully complete yet but suggestions?
